Alex won a couple of prizes too I think we came back with about 10 prizes, mum said after about the eighth time she went up it got a bit embarrasing

I've not had that much luck with raffles, only won once.

My father was far better at winning things like raffles and bingo. He once walked into a bar looking for his brother, signed something on the way in, and won the door prize in the five minutes he was there.

Nope, but the door prize was a shotgun.

It was 1945. The bar, for want of a better word was more of a social club and it was during a private event hosted by a veteran's association to raise money for the Veteran's of Foreign Wars needing medical treatment and such.

Dad was just as surprised as anyone. He thought the dollar at the door was just donation money and not a raffle ticket.

well that brings us neatly back to eggs

I Easter Eggs but Mrs. B doesn't let me eat them

we had deviled eggs with dinner.. but that's it..

The only eggs around here were in the omelette for breakfast.

the handy part is the eggs are pre-cooked... I'd still recommend sterilizing them though..
