Cal: Steaming from his ears
Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted Oct 24, 2006
Me and my life have been having fun in the supermarket with The Daughter, a lot of tittering, giggling and eyerolling went on at the TOTALLY useless woman at the till, me telling her the story of Tate and Lyle in the checkout queue, me telling her about the time she used to dunk her fingers in her godfather's beer when she was a baby.
She's now gone back to her latch hooking and I'll be doing my knitting after I've answered all my threads, whilst watching a video of the Last Ever TOTP, which is a favourite of Alex's, she tends to laugh herself sick at Boy George and David Bowie wearing make up

Why should she find them any less amusing than we did, eh?
Personally, I still firmly believe that Boy George never existed. It was a world-wide mass illusion, perhaps happening because of a minor spill of Greeh in the oceans?

It's the men wearing Make up bit she can't quite get her head around
And being the mean mother I am I'm taking her shopping and having lunch in Southampton tomorrow

Greeh gets balmed for everything not it's fault that human beings can't take their drink
And I must confess I am yet again worshiping at the doorstep of satan and have brought the BT Home Hub. Wishing I hadn't of course because it's proving a *here goes the word that can get through the profanity filter but of which I shall not print as my sins are escalating out of control as it is* to set up.

Nawwww, Amazon.ca is far too limited in what they carry. Not even any cool techy-stuff. And the nuisance factor of getting some stuff through "Customs" from any of the other flavours, ...
And I too wonder what "Home Hub" is. It sounds like some kind of signalling device to most-on-high types.

That link reminded me of a few things I wanted to check out about computer programs and hardware such as a T.V. tuner card.
As to the annoying, flashing indicator lights... duct tape.

Geez, I guess my tag today IS appropriate then. I've a simple router, and hard-wired drops in my house. And only about 4 MBps service.

it's not crap reef it just doesn't explain properly how to fix up the wireless connection.
the guy on the phone didn't do that very well either kept telling me to do stuff and not explaining why, so I felt the need to keep explaining that it was a wireless connection I was after
