Strange marks in the bathroom….

…Or more accurately on the outside of the bathroom ceiling window. It looks like a large muddy 
has been sitting on the window light sunbathing. 
Oh well, I’ll just have to wait for the drought to come and wash the marks off now.

Deck the halls....

with bows of holly. Fa la la la laa la la la laaaa….. 
Nine teaching days left here until the end of term. The arrived yesterday and now that it’s dried out and the fairy lights have been tested the decoration has started. 
It’s amazing the little things that can cheer up what has otherwise been a fairly stressful week. B’s car died a horrible death whilst he was on his way to work on Monday – so the alarm has been going off much earlier in the morning so that he can go and meet his lift. Oh, and there’s the joy that is car hunting to contend with this weekend.
I broke an already damaged tooth in half yesterday whilst eating lunch. Managed to get an emergency appointment at the local emergency dental place for people who aren’t registered and had some patching done on it. Now it hurts – it didn’t hurt before the dentist got hold of me, and I know I’ve got to go and have it drilled out and repaired at some point in the near future. 
To round of my woes it took me four and a half hours to get to work this morning. The journey usually takes me just over 30 mins. 
But never mind, time to turn the Carols on methinks….
