Silly Season
Posted Apr 4, 2003
I think the Silly Season has finally arrived. In the last twenty minutes I’ve had a constant sting of external phone calls, most of which cut off the second I pick up the phone.
I’ve also had several enquiries about Quality Compost and Pet’s Pizzas, and had a Drew Peacock, Ivor LargeOne, and something I didn’t quite catch but with a high squeaky voice all hang up on me.
I think the sports group that I evicted from the back room is now seeking revenge.

End of Term
Posted Apr 1, 2003
Ok, so I know there are nine working days left but it's beginning to feel like we're almost there at last. Panicking students are everywhere, the tutors are even more stressed than usual and it's very busy in here.
On the other hand the holiday forms have been filled in and I'm due for nearly two weeks away from work.
Role on Easter. I'll also be able to start eating marmite again!

I think I’ve finally stopped running on hyper-drive.

Relaxed, calm and very happy. Spring is beginning to show itself (about time too), and all is well here.

Men and Holes
Posted Mar 14, 2003
Aren't some men amazingly talented at digging themselves into holes? I refer of course to the new entry in a certain Master B's journal. When a person has been in work with our sports students and then spent four hours driving does he honestly expect logical conversation? Then to post to hootoo and not expect me to notice!
His weekend could now become very interesting.
