Continuing on the 'narrow mindedness' theme something I quoted from The Guiding Handbook, Girlguiding UK was 'Yikesed' for what reason is still beyond me.

Seems to me people will only notice you if you stand up and say something like "I think you are all stupid" to get noticed.
Of course, I don't think Seraphina is stupid. She has written a lot of interesting entries. It just upsets me when people get so annoyed so quickly and I am trying to understand why.

ChiKiSpirit, but what started all the yikesing and "anger" on this conversation?

I am at an age where I let a lot of things and comments just "flow" by...

Anger is a waste of energy anyway, and as for annoyance, lest said the better....

Just one last question:
Why is it that Roman Catholic schools appear to be able to waive the equal opportunities policies? I have nothing against Catholics, in fact some of my friends are Catholics but they will only employ Catholics in Catholic schools in UK.
