Ages and ages since I read it - there was also a film made in black and white if I remember correctly - I'll have to re-join the local library to borrow a copy. Didn't yhe troglodites eat the others? I feel like a time traveller myself trying to remember so far back.

I don't have a copy of the book, but I see from your links that I can read it online. Not an ideal solution, but it'll do until I can get a copy smiley - biggrin I read it ages ago - in fact, I had to read it for Cultural Studies, but an excuse to read it again is no bad thing.
