or when your girlfriend suggests you take a brake or "start seeing other people"
bummer - well, usually.

I've never had that - it's only ever been a straight "You're dumped!"
I was looking back over all my relationship break-ups and with the previously mentioned exception, I ended them all because I thought I was getting treated like crap. Does that mean I expect too much, or am just intolerant?
Who knows - I'm sure there are hundreds of would-be shrinks out there that would love to get me on the couch so-to-speak

good one
actually i believe quite a few ladies og that profession could make me shrink if they put their mind to it
i would just have to convince them not to

Should I consider myself lucky or unlucky for not knowing any ladies of that profession - or even "That" profession as a matter of fact!!

I've always thought I needed my bumps felt - which one should I see for that?
This reminds me of Basket Case by Green Day.

The REAL Julyflower! Posted Nov 16, 2005
Hello just popping in....
its gratifying to know I'm still appreciated and a candle still burns for me in Hootoo - though very small and faint I fear....
have been on my travels - including Bali very shortly before the bomb, to both places that were hit - also to Scotland where it rained as always - (never go to Scotland while I am there) -
as for being dumped - my least favourite has to be where the guy is so incredibly unpleasant you have no option but to disappear - what a sneaky and cowardly way to end things!

Oooh Oooh, what part of Scotland? I lived right in the far North between Inverness and Aberdeen for the best part of ten years in two stints!!

Well I'm touched and moved - why did I stay away so long
(warms herself at raging fire)
Dear I am glad you are well again
Dear Bassman - as for Scotland - this year I spent a week on Skye - pouring rain - and a week at Aberfeldy - pouring rain.
Next year have a day trip booked to Glasgow and 2 weeks booked to the Outer Hebrides, followed by 3 nights in - Inverness! where I hope to go to see the Moray Firth dolphins at Chanonry Point - what is about Scotland that draws me, I don't know especially as I'm from the other end of the country...
Bassman where are you now? I had the honour and pleasure to meet a few years ago but I don't think you were there?
I'm at home by the way - not allowed to go on "chat lines" at work - as this is classified!!

I've not met yet - that's certainly one of the names I want to add to my "Researchers I've met" list.
I'm at w**k at the moment - in Farnborough, although i live in the Midlands - just outside Leicester. I stay down here 4 days at a time, then go home for 4 days. It's not ideal, but it pays the mortgage.
