Dear sweet friends
I am sure that all your good wishes have made me feel better even if my fingers still feel as if they have been put straight into a fire.
And now a wonderful kind friend has suggested that she take me to France tomorrow for the day to cheer me up.!! Isn't that wonderful. So I am off early tomorrow morning in her little car. We shall get onto the Channel Tunnel train and 35 minutes later we shall be in La Belle France. There I am hiring an electric wheelchair - in order to practise hurdles dearest Shea and Lurcher and we shall have a lovely lunch together. I am really excited about it as I have not been able to travel abroad for well over five years.
Hoorah!!!! Here we come.
And dear Pheloxi thank you for your wishes as well as dear Amy who gave me and is going to give me a wonderful surprise!!.
With ever so much AR1 (There is still life in the old girl - hurdling and all)
And my brother has offered me a new kitchen which will be ready in a month.Hoorah. wonderful.
The doctor gave me some really powerful cortisone cream which seems to have reduced my sausage fingers by half and has therefore also removed a lot of the pain. Wonderful.

Hi dear pheloxi,
What have you been up to? Yes it certainly does help to have people thnking of you and hopeing you will get better. Have you had huge winds in Holland? It really has been gusting here, but still not as much as in Cape Town when we really had to hang onto lamposts when we went down to the harbour. I believe Auckland New Zealand is the windiest place in the world and Cape Town the second windiest!!.
Sleep tight. Goeie naand. AR1

I'm glad you had a nice time in France, AR1! Imagine being able to pop over to France! Going to Paris has been a lifelong dream of mine ... I would love to spend all my time at the museums! Perhaps I'll get there one day.
I hope you're feeling even better very soon.

Dear pheloxi
How are you? I am really worried about you as you do not appear to be writing at all. And the next word game is missing your guiding hand. Please let me know your news.
With much affection,
AR1

Hi pheloxi
Well, Well, Well. someplace spelt backwards is just ecalpemos!! And I agree with you that it is much more exciting spelt that way. Do you reply about the burglaries in your fanclub? I shall pop across. I have just found out from a dear friend Zarqhon about someone who has written a piece about tapdancing in a wheechair. Fantastic idea. So now I have a new friend Mikey. Great. Have a good weekend my dear friend. a big from AR1
