I have a feeling they might get, uh 'distracted' somewhere along the line Paul. I mean we're talking 'catnip', right?

These cats would be throwing catnip parties for all the cats on the block.

We have a new lineup on one of the television channels. It is the retro television network. Currently, Battlestar Galactica (the original with Lorne Green, Dirk Benedict and Richard Hatch) comes on Saturday night. Apparently, Tux is a sci fi fan. She hopped on the bed and intently watched Doctor Who and Battlestar Galactica with me last night.

Awww I haven't really investigated it because there's just So much else to watch, but there's some vintage Sci-Fi on miro. Also some classic cartoons - old(I'm guessing early 50's)Popeye, Betty Boop, Felix The , ect.

I downloaded the miro software but haven't taken the time to find stuff. Been doing a bit of cleaning between posts.
My mp3 player has a bunch of podcasts and zencasts http://www.zencast.com/

I found some Sherlock Holmes Zencasts. It's like bedtime stories to the . Very convenient for when they want amusement and I'm too busy to play with them as much as they would like (which would be non stop).

Oh I'm sure they'd be ready to play pretty much non-stop! Hmm, Sherlock Holmes you say? Actually, not so elementary Watson...you see an examination of the feline psyche....(I have no idea where I was going with that)

An examination of the feline psyche has revealed that...
Following many hours of experiments exposing felines to movies, television, and books (audio or read aloud) that felines are most entertained by: Deep voices with accents such as Sean Bean and James Earl Jones. Video with manic movement and big fiery explosions such as Doctor Who and Battlestar Galactica. And, felines also like a bit of deductive reasoning and suspense as demonstrated by the rapt listening to Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes novels. In conclusion, felines are either very simplistic, rather evolved or they are really an alien species biding their time to take over.

These test results may pertain to grey stripey cats and their offspring.
Many years ago, we had a Siamese that was a stray we found on the doorstep. Her first Siamese marked grand kitten used to watch M*A*S*H with us every night after the news. The kitten would follow them across the screen. Because a lot of the scenes are outdoors or with characters walking across the compound, she would look around the corner of the television to see where they were walking to.

Snowball, that Siamese kitten would perch on my shoulder like a parrot.
