h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Woke up last night from about midnight to 2am. Got up this morning at 9:30 and stayed up an hour feeling like a zombie, then fell back asleep until 11:00am. Up now.

I need to go to the grocery, but maybe I can wait until tomorrow.

Trying to get as much sunshine as possible. There are a few clouds in the sky, and they are puffy and beautiful.

Been watching a movie, but it's pretty slow, so turned it off.

Just got home from work, cooking dinner.

Which movie were you watching (I might need to consider your finding it a bit slow a recommendation )?

I think a 30-minute nap is still doing just fine- hell, I take those sometimes.

What else do you have going on this evening?

The movie is Memphis, with Cybil Shepard. Not my usual fare. It's based on September, September.

I'm trying to stay on the computer as much as possible, because posting and clicking keep me active and prevent me from dozing off. But, at some point, I really must load the dishwasher!

What's on the menu tonight?

Nothing spectacular. We went grocery shopping after work, so we made Gardenburger "riblets", on onion kaiser rolls, with tater tots and a salad made with baby butter lettuce and tomatoes from the farmer's market.

I'm not a huge fan of Sybill Sheppard but I liked her in "The Last Picture Show".

Right now K is watching Simpsons. After that we'll either watch a Netflix or play some video games. I've been hooked on Lego Star Wars (which is why we watched the films- it just worked out that my uncle had a box set he loaned us at K's request).

Actually, that meal sounds pretty darn tasty.

I'm glad you finally saw Star Wars.

Sky is mostly clear now, no more puffy clouds.

No puffy clouds here today. We did have a torrential downpour- and my windows didn't leak!

Ah, I'm glad they didn't leak. That has been an issue of some concern.

I wonder where Edward is today?

Had a little trouble getting to sleep last night. Got up at 10:30am today. Want to go back to sleep, but am trying not to. Time for breakfast I guess.

Had a coca cola with my veggie burger. Caffeine is helping some.

Going to be exercising with my niece at 1pm.

Went for a long walk outside at 1pm. It was dang hot. Went to see my therapist at 3pm, then went to the grocery. I'm still awake and doing pretty well. Whew.

Trying to stay up. Come talk guys.

Got up at 11am. Had some breakfast. Been doing dishes.

Hootoo's timing seems to be off. Posts that I post "just now" are saying they are from an hour ago. The postings will show correctly, then incorrectly, then correctly again. Making me bonkers.

Been cleaning a lot today. Tired. May watch a movie.

Hi there. Been busy as hell this week. Month end lasts till the fourth business day of the month. That was today. Things will calm down after next week. So sorry if I haven't been online as much to offer more support.

Watching a movie till bedtime sounds like a good idea to me!
