Do you have a CD burner? If not, I would be happy to download some stuff for you, burn to CD, and send to you.

I don't have a CD burner. If you didn't mind send me a copy of some of the downloads Ed has found, that would be GREAT.

I've discovered that I sleep a little bit better if I go ahead and take my earrings out at night. When I wear them to bed, they hurt a tiny bit when I turn over on my side. I just need to make sure I always put them back in at morning time. Wouldn't want the holes to close up on me.

I really would strongly suggest trying the PMR one. Relaxation isn't just about listening to relaxing stuff...it's an active skill.
Maybe you could even practice it in the daytime, near the computer...either lying down on the floor, or a comfy chair is fine. Then you can apply the same skill in bed.
It really is worth learning. Sometimes you don't realise you're not relaxed until you take a look at your muscles!

I think PCs gonna send them, so I can actually go to sleep listening to them.

This website has some excellent information about sleep rhythms. Please note, you have to keep clicking on the little next button to proceed through the video. For some reason it won't play in one chunk. Also has tabs on jet lag, etc.

Whoa, you were in bed before me? Did you manage to get to sleep soon after hitting the sheets? Were you able to stay asleep?

I listened to a sleep music CD for about an hour, so didn't actually get to sleep till about 10pm. Did wake up at 2am and spent a couple hours awake, but didn't get on the computer. Woke up at 8:30am.

Well, all in all, that sounds like an OK night, then. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night, too (not always because of cats), and take a while to get back to sleep. 10-8:30 with a couple hour interruption sounds like a really good start. I hope you feel rested this morning, too?

Hmmm, still rather groggy with a strong urge to go back to sleep, cause I'm not quite adjusted yet. But planning to stay up for church, and so on.

Listening to a CD called Thunderous Classics to try and stay awake.
I tried to watch the movie 1984, but it was too slow and boring. A pity, since the book is so good.

The worst thing about the film is the Eurythmics soundtrack that was added against the director's will.

Trying to hold out till 8:30pm at least. VERY sleepy. I've got the shades open to let in light to keep me up a wee bit longer.

I might watch the bellydance dvd, but I don't think I have the energy to follow along.
