I'm going to ask you what sounds like a stupid question: How often do you vacuum in the house and where is little when you do it?
Things like vacuums, running water at the wrong pitch and various appliances like blenders and garbage disposals can be very irritating to me. Also, many folks fail to swap out the vacuum bags often enough and sometimes they distribute more than they pick up.

I must admit to not having a schedule for vacuuming, but tend to do it when I can see a need. It's probably a couple of times a week. I know ideally I should do it once a day, but don't really manage that.
Little is sometimes there, sometimes not. He doesn't particularly like it, but more because it disturbs his TV or video game watching/playing as far as I can see.
I know what you mean about emptying the vacuum bags. I hate doing it, as it's a really messy job. I have one of those you have to empty the dust out directly into the waste bin and then shake the filter to clear it. I did that last week, so it won't need doing for a little while.
How do you manage the pitch then? Are there some that are OK? Do you test them before buying?

I have learned the hard way over the years to keep earplugs on hand at all times.

An acquaintance at work keeps giving me novels to read. Most of them rest on the bestseller list. A couple I have actually been able to read, a couple more I just couldn't stand. To get back at him I am writing him a novel. Whether it will be something bearable, I cannot tell. Sometimes the stupid things just write themselves.
I am trying to avoid being unneccesarily silly. This gives me a lot to think about how to be necessairly silly.
I think a truly useful novel has silliness in it. Otherwise I won't read it and I certainly won't write it.
This will make book number 4 I think.

I have imagined that little is in hospital or jail or something worse.
I don't know why I haven't thought that something has happened to you.
Shnooks called a few minutes ago and told me that a U.S. Marines recruiter called her out of the blue and offered to give her a ride to the recruiting station. She's going. Her job search has been unfruitful.
I have been sick for about a week, officially. I haven't been feeling well throughout the silly season, as per usual. But last Thursday morning at work I got stuck in the employee loo for two hours with some sort of food poisoning or viral reaction. When I emerged after purging both ends, I found that I had been given the rest of the week off. Tomorrow night I go back to work.
