May I say, I just *love* Bob in that heavenly armour - very butch. Fits his character like that glove fitted OJ...
Right, I've got Bob and Raspy fighting over the presipice of doom, with Gonz about to try something. I had an idea that Gonz might try something with the banana peel we saw earlier - just an idea.
Also, I've noticed that Raspy's Russian accent has returned - that's good, it fits the character well. But it would have been too much effort keeping it up through the story.
I've also packed Tim and the Leicestercat off, out of the story. I'm sure they'll be very happy together.
I'll leave the next post to you, as things are getting a bit heated and I wouldn't want to cut you out.
Meanwhile, I've got some dead time - off school until Monday for Easter midterm. If you wanted me to do some Rasputin scenes to fill in missing time, I could do it now. I seem to remember you mentioned a few missing days you wanted to fill in whenever you were editing - well, I can do them now, with pleasure. Idleness doth not suit me, sirrah. Just say the word.

my diary is fully booked for the next fortnight or so conveyer-belting essays to fee the ravenous blugbatter beast of Traal that lives in my department and demands sacrifices. So alas I'm gonna be tied up for a bit longer yet. ()
I was thinking about what'd Id said earlier in this forum as well. The scenes between Rasputin's raising , the murder of yasupov in the flat and then in the airport I think are a little bit confusing *but* on the whole not as bad as I seemed to remember them being when I first pondered adding in extra scenes.
Basically, if you want to give it a whirl be my guest. (the scene in the old h2g2 storytime where the piano drops on the car I added in while I was editing because that whole scene was so totally screwed from top to bottom, it need something to expand on car/piano being there to make it I think flow better.
----------------------
I read you last posting the story - great stuff. "a wave of miffed-ness washed over him" !
Far be it from me to hog the limelight, I am going to be *very* busy the next few weeks so if you want to go ahead and pen a follow up, I'll be happy to pass the torch on this one. (I'd still like to stick something in so I'll poke my head in occasionally, time permitting, and if I think of somethign I'll jot it down - but the same applies to you, if you've got something you want to do next (kill gonzaroolio perhaps?) then do it. The idea of the story is (these discussions of continuity aside) to be fairly free-form in nature. I'll adapt to whatever you write. (but the sentiment is appreciated nonetheless. )

Thanks clive. With this much time on my hands, I might just kill that darn clown. I won't end the story with any big climax just yet though - it can wait a while, and that bugblatter beast can't be hungry forever, right?
If the pressure gets too much, just remember the most helpful words the venerable DNA ever wrote, and 'DON'T PANIC'. Was the man a genius or what?
Enjoy Bush and bin Laden.

Well, that's the big climactic fight scene done. I think I wrapped up some issues rather neatly (the reason for Bob's 3rd arm finally revealed).Hope you like it

Brilliant. Gave me goosebumps. You haven't read 'Small Gods', have you?
Just going to add a little more: not to gild the truffle, or whatever that expression is...and then we can say goodbye to Mr Rasputin for good.

And in the words of Will Shakespeare:
{Exuent Rasputin}
BTW, the prophecy looks v. cool in that red font, very portentuous and evil. How did you get the font? I thought that in GuideML you could only get normal text and headers.
So, now we just have to wrap up a few loose ends (ie. the Agents) and we can be off home to our families.

Yes I have.
It's called and it's HTML not GuideML - which doesn't go in the edited guide but seeing as we aint ever gonna eb submitting this for subbing - it still works.
Use the test edit function if you wanna see how it works.

Such is the nature of sequels, so I am told...

Just been reading the cast-list again. Rasputin: 'Power-hungry, undead, homicidal psychopath. The President of the United States of America'. I love it. I just love it.

BTW, could you give me a link to the first storytime thread, or the page where it is? I've searched, but I can't find it.

regarding the latest situation.
I would rather see Rasputin get his cumupence in suitably horrific fashion. I mean He escaped from Hell. Satan ain't gonna be pleased about that.
Also, you've just reminded me, with the president of the Unites States now molten gloop - Supreme executive authoirty must pass to the Vice President. I wonder who that could be? (maybe a way into the next arc...have the VP meet with Annabel's 5 sinister partners - The Cult of The Dying Pilchard.)
Speaking of which, Annabel is still lurking around on that slab.... right next to the Infernal Engine...
