h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

As you all know (I think everyone I know talks to everyone else I know, anyway), one of you is coming over here later this year. It seems to make sense then to orgranise a meet. No ideas what or where yet, but I was thinking booking a pub or something along those lines - if enough people are up for it then it should only cost a couple of clam each.

I think I'll be flying *over* England on my way to Prague next August, but I won't be able to stop in mid-flight.

I've wondered how some airlines could sell tickets for so much less than other airlines.

Dunno - anybody I suppose. Thing is, most of the folks I talk to on here are foreigners so that makes it tricky, but still.

Most places like this 'discourage' folk from actually meeting up.

It isn't against the house rules. There is a page of precautions such as meeting in public and bring a friend, etc.

H2G2 researchers have been *encouraged* to get together.

You can have your own meet-up, but I don't know how quiet it will be.
