ex-Rambling. Thingite. Dog. Pythonist. Deceased. Posted Dec 7, 2002
busy week.
I'm doing the Medical Mamba this month; come to think of it, I've been in and out of doctors' offices for 3 months now. 10 appointments to doctors' offices this last month, and so far, 3 lab workups and 1 doctor's appointment and it's only the 6th. Poor Mom has 2 lab tests next week, and 3 doctors' appointments next week. She has another
2 at the ecd of dec. and my husband has 1. Plus a blood work up every week for Mom; and maybe a followup on each.
I'm chasing my arse. Next month she gets her followup, and sees his counsellor. For some reason, they always want me along.
It makes me feel good to know they're getting such good treatment; but why all the running around? I don't go online as much now; will keep e mailing and nursing the phone mostly;
kids about to finish their school projects and then they'll have about 2 weeks off. Yay!
Doctor says that Mom has her Coumadin level right where she wants it. Heard today. Her heart rate is still too fast, and she's still in a fibrillation, though. They'll probably try to shock her out of it early Jan. She has so much energy now, compared to last month. Took her to the base to shop 3 times this week, and we're going tomorrow again. It's so cool to see her getting out again!
She got a load of stuff for the kids for x mas, too. vulpix got to ride around and look at the x mas lights and next week, we put up ours. Cooked another turkey this week and rented the kids games x 4 to make up for all the time I spent running. They are in good spirits. So am I; running is good exercise.
's Dad passed away this week, so he's blue. Gonna cook him pork chops; took him out and got him a hat he wanted. Kissed his arse all week; got him to laughing. He looks a lot better now.

I'm Still Thinking... Lord Of Hell. Posted Dec 7, 2002
About my grandfather's death, I ain't gonna miss him. It's sad he died, but he was an abusive jerk. I was going to call him something much worse, but mother wouldn't let me. Dad is getting over it though. He needs one less thing on his mind. At this moment of time, I'm kinda angry. I get angry whenever I hear about my grandfather. We try not to talk about him too much for dad's sake. Also, my parents don't discuss him much in front of me; to protect me is their reason. It's a good one. Apparently, he himself was abused. He wasn't as bad as his grandmother, who raised him I think. My father is nothing like him.
My grandmother is doing better, like my mother said. That, I am thankful for. I'm fine, other than my current semi-anger. It'll go away after a while.

I guess that's a lot to absorb. Behavior patterns like Granpa's are learned; they can be unlearned. broke the pattern of negative parrenting, but I think his dad tried to; he just didn't know how. IST sees this.
Paul, you have a lot going on. Writing, singing, back up work for your p.c. I guess we all do; it's a hectic time of year. s
to Paul, Dragon Fly, Shea and Serg.
vulpix has started a game on final fantasy 10. I liked 9 better, but 10 is more involved. She's doing o.k. IST has about 60 hours in on it.
The artwork in the summons is terrific!

Oh, drat, I've suddenly gone into a diametrically
opposite universe from Red Dog's. I'll have to get back
somehow.....
No, wait, that's the user's manual for Windows 95, which
I don't even have any more. There is no user's
manual for this universe.

A few sore muscles from shoveling
snow. Much of the East Coast got
two feet of snow on Monday. Most
sidewalks are not shoveled out yet...
