clone of me that died an imaginary death. My
imaginary clone was much more handsome than I am....
(I always suspected that our imaginary mother loved him

Yep, Home-schooling is work, but I love it. I get a lot of downloads from the net, and the rest from teachers' supply stores. I've got one in 4th grade, and one in 8th.

Geminid meteor shower tonight! Eclipse(partial) on the 14th. I know what we'll be doing tonight. Weather permitting, I;ll make a big bag of and hot tea, set out the lawn chairs and break out the binoculars. My kids and I will huddle in coats and watch. We missed the last one due to cloud cover.

The sky was so dark this morning
(and, indeed, is still so dark)
that I thought the eclipse was today.

I doubt that we'll see any meteor showers here,
'cause there's a constant drizzle. Those
clouds ain't moving. Good thing I wasn't
planning to go to the beach.
