I'm missing a whole bunch of stuff here apparently....
What'd you do to your ankle? Did I miss a journal entry?
And why do you need to go turn off your gas tank after you finish cooking?

Paul.
That crafting business looks pretty cool, Amy. I was tempted to order a starter kit myself ... just for the fun of it ... but I didn't.

Sorry, Lady Scott. I've been too overwhelmed to do a journal entry. My left ankle periodically causes trouble. I sprained it rather badly in college, so it has become my weakest link. Somehow, I must have put too much pressure on it last Friday, because it hurt like all weekend. Ibuprofen and an ankle support and a crutch and some rest are all helping. I'm hoping to be relatively normal within a week.
I don't leave the pilot light on in my stove. This saves on LPG, but it means lighting the burner(s) manually whenever I want to cook something. Usually I don't have to wade to get to the LPG faucet.

Stupid servers
I wrote a nice long thing, and hit 'Post' and cameup as 'Unknown Hiker' and I don't remember what all I wrote now, and don't have time to reconstruct

When that happens, maybe you could just hit the back button, then copy and paste your post into a word document to save it. Or an email draft if you don't happen to have word on your computer.
Depends on how your computer is set up though.

That's what I normally do, but going back gave me the 'Welcome unknown hiker' page, too.

Welcome, unknown hiker.
You have reached the alternative universe version of Hitchhiker's Guide to Universe. In this version, H2G2 has been mistaken for France, which is on the U.S. enemies list. You do not have to post in French here in order to be guilty of collaborating with the evil gaullists. In fact, posting in English *proves* that you are tricky enough to be one of their minions.
There is, in fact, no way that you can prove your innocence, as it is well known that any attempts to defend yourself through rhetorical or legal means will be considered a proof of guilt. Just ask martha Stewart.
