What is wrong with me?
pheloxi | is it time to wear a hat? | Posted Feb 1, 2004
Lady Scott is right about baby changed your life.
it is also winter the energy you got from the summer is at its end. it is easier to get and smaller things will irritate you. last winter you would sleep it off, but with Faith around you a lot less sleep.
hopes spring and summer comes soon!
we still you!

You'll make it through the ups and downs Amy!
And thanks for the mufflewhump! Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I could get *two* of those in one lifetime!

I made mistake in my last post or at least partly..
you did not get your usual energy last summer, because you were pregant. so you will be more tired and feel a bit down right now.
do not worry too much about it. next time do winter baby

It's amazing how many people will respond with advice when they see a subject line like "What's wrong with me?"

Welcome to planet sprog
In reference to our IM conversation the other day... You now know why Eris and I have such a hectic schedule... If we didn't, I'd have to stay in and go mental. I hope you really enjoyed your time to yourself... It might also help to do what I did the other night. I marched into the living room brandishing a and announced to the assembled masses (Mark and Eris) that I was off for a long soak and that I'd be back when my feet were wrinkly It's good to be selfish occasionally
*purloins a mufflewhump for Eris*

I wish I'd had the good sense to do that occasionally when mine were little.
I didn't wise up until they were at least elementary school age and were making me crazy with their constant bickering. Occasionally in the evening Lord Scott would come home and notice that the girls were picking at each other more than usual. I'd announce that I was leaving, he'd call me "Chicken!" (translation: "Please don't leave me alone with them acting like this!), and I'd head out to do some serious window shopping for a couple of hours.
They might still be bickering when I got back, or maybe Lord Scott would have interested them in something else by that time so that the house was more peaceful, but at least I felt somewhat refreshed because I'd gotten out of the house, away from the kids and maybe even bought something along the way.

Amy, can I direct you to http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F635609?thread=375688 You and Faith were very much admired :) I think everyone goes through phases like this on and off the site when it all seems flat and uninteresting. When you've got little children and get house-bound for any reason it just magnifies it. There's an old Chinese proverb that says 'This too will pass', in the good times it reminds me to treasure them, save them to memory & use the memories to get through the bad times.

I always suspected as much!
I mean, look at the facts. The only comes out after dark, when nobody can see what it's *really* doing. Plus, it keeps one side hidden from us at all times. What's going on on that side, that it doesn't want us to know about?
