I was going to come over before to tell you again that I think you are total asset to this place. Can I just hide here for a while instead?
Thanks
Peanut Posted Jul 31, 2011
*briefly acknowledges Kea's presence with a warm smile and then gets on with pottering about so as not to disturb her hiding*
*pours out a jug of cocktails, gets out a couple of glasses, pours herself one, chinks in some ice from a sparkling clean freezer, heads out to the garden to light the barbeque, hopes she tempts Kea out rather than smokes her out*
Thanks

*pokes head out of cupboard*
Actually I was considering setting up a squat. Do you have squatters' rights here?
*eyes up cocktail*
Thanks
Peanut Posted Aug 1, 2011
*Refills the cocktail jug and leaves a flask of tea ouside the cupboard*
We still have squatters rights here but they are under review, so make the most of them while you can
Once they are gone, I could give you tenants rights for a nominal sum of a £1 a year but it's not quite the same is it.
Have to go now, but leaves the back door slightly ajar, then you can come and go without breaking the law
Love Peanut
Thanks

Kea
and asks did you play 'sardines' when you were a kid, one person hid and everyone went off to find them, when you did find them you hid with them until there was only person left looking?
in other words can I hide with you until I get over my present thread overload, I've finally caught up with 10 days of h2g2
I bring a couple of flasks, one has got a chilled cocktail in, one a hot toddy, would you like to share?
Thanks
Thread overload We have a special hideaway cupboard now. Let's not tell anyone or they'll all be here! I have some which might go well with the hot toddy
Where have you been for ten days?
Thanks
Peanut Posted Aug 2, 2011
*passes the hot toddy flask to Kea and cracks open the cold one* It's a hot day here.
Went to Cornwall for a week, having deprived the teenager of a computer for a week, well what she calls deprived, I didn't see the laptop for the best part of the first couple of days when we got back
I missed you before I went away but did read somewhere that you needed a breather, so I'm not asking about it just offering an ear should you ever want to take me up on it. Just really wanted to say that I missed you and was/am wishing you well
Cor blimey, its a bit hot in here, *peeks out door, coast is clear* want to leg it out to my secret garden shed?
Love Peanut
Thanks

Hey Kea
It's been good seeing you about in threads
While I was on holiday I tried sloe gin and , we didn't know what the cocktail real name was but we called it 'schlampers' not quite a meld of champagne and sloe, it just seemed fit at the time...
Anyway, want to try some it's yummy
Love Peanut
Thanks

Kea, just to let you know that the no subject on your space is curtosy of FKF. Effers yikesed and asked me to pass on the message, so that you weren't just confronted by 'no subject' and left wondering what the bob it was all about.
Have to now but and I'll be back later with more supplies
Love Peanut
Thanks

s over the covered
Are we ok do you think? Lil has me worried now that I've been stomping round in my bovver boots (not that I actually own any bovver boots, I'm more of a sheepskin slipper girl at the moment).
Thanks
Peanut Posted Aug 15, 2011
Course we are, Lil was just offering us some good advice out of concern. And I was talking to her elsewhere about other stuff as well, sniffling a bit actually, hormones, spect that made her worry more
Your comment didn't bother me at all, I was upset that I had caused you upset, when that was what I was trying to prevent in the first place...
Thanks

It was very pretty before. Now it's looking decidedly untidy I think today is the last day, it will all be gone tomorrow.
Thanks
Peanut Posted Aug 16, 2011
at the untidy snow, s'cuse my ignorance but do you usually get snow, I thought maybe right up the mountains but otherwise not often.
In this part of England it's very unusual so we get all excited when it comes, then people start moaning cos the schools shut, and the roads go to pot
Key: Complain about this post
Thanks
