It was date scones today, made with cream.
I ate too many though.
Oh, and more of the venison. Two more meals to go I think.
Thanks

* in, grabs a flask and a sleeping bag and hides in the cupboard*
Woo hoo, this moring I dealt with a personal situation to do with money and stuff, I have been so stressed about it over the last couple of days it has clouded my days, disrupted my nights and at times felt quite overwhelming
I'm so happy but I think I might just hide here for a while to recover from my foray into the outside world and officaldom
While I am here a quick update, new domesticated cat has moved in, it likes the easy life, being petted, we have established groundrules, no bedrooms, keep off the furniture and it has taken up residence under the sofa as it's sleeping spot.
It snores and as it's moulting a lot coughs quite a bit when grooming, he has snuck in the back door and under the sofa without me noticing, given a sudden hack which made me jump and at the same time.
Feral cat is more affectionate, very talkative and a little bit fat I had assumed that she couldn't get the kitten way, I hope she can't.
and
Thanks

I forgot to say, I remembered the thing that I forgot, it happened when I hoiked a naughty cat off a pile of sleeping bags behind the surfboard, it's the tent, needs cleaning and proofing
yay I remembered , I've got to clean the tent

Have you cleaned the tent yet?
And does hiding in the cupboard with really work? I might put in a book shelf when I get the chance, we could do with one of those. Some books would be good too.
Thanks

I have a picture that I really want to take but can't.
We brought (impulse buy) a venus fly trap, to much scoffing I add from certain quarters that we would kill it in a week
6 weeks on, Ben (the vft)is looking very well, thank you. It has trapped a small spider, whose arse and some splayed legs are projecting out of the trap
It looks great in the sun, delicate and deadly, and most inelegant for the poor spider
and crumble
Thanks

Cat update
I am now convinced that we have an allergic cat, which is really quite funny because sometimes they give us a hell of a wheeze as well.
Dust seems to be a trigger and insense is an irritant, this is most unfortunate given my hippy ways and I am quite slovenly when it comes to housework
Thanks

I've lost my slapper boots (sister calls them)or me boot as Spiller calls them or kinky boots as the kids politly say. Me I just call them comfy and I think they are under a table somewhere on the girls versus boy thread
Does that help
Thanks

Clear as mud!
How does the girls vs boys thread work?
Thanks

It's brunch time, well a bit past, unfortunatly, Hiccup's homework trumps my wish to brunch it up...
Girls add one, boys take one, girls want to get to 1000 and boys -1000, you can only post after someone else has had a turn, if you see what I mean

Are we allowed to post conversation as well or will that ruin the feng shui? I was going to say something about getting the 21100 post
Key: Complain about this post
Thanks
