Thanks
The thing that is really bothering me at the moment is that it just feels like the bbc all over again, only back in the Jimster days. I don't see the community being supported, and I see alot of energy going into the EG. Maybe there is a longer term plan, but it grates when there were those of us who *were* willing and able to do the community side of things and were effectively shut out of the process (albeit unintentionally for the most part).
The scarey part is that I'm not sure how many people would even understand what I mean by community.
Sorry, I probably should shut up. I know you are feeling heartened by the sensitive topics thread, so I'm a bad kea for bringing you down
It all just seems so unnecessary.
Thanks

oo er, was that just a general comment on the general situation,
if so duckity duck it
Thanks

no you are not a bad Kea, I still feel that I am banging my head against a brick wall
I am tired of the mod situation and feel really ground down by it and I'm gutted that Ed has left
but for me that thread has been very measured and I feel that it could go somewhere and have been able to put the ground downess aside and contribute with genuine goodwill and in the hope that maybe it is a start, a little step.
Thanks
Have you seen the announcement in Ask? Can't say I am particularly surprised but it feels heavy in my heart. I have no doubt the EG will survive, but I doubt this is the last thing we will see that changes the community fundamentally.
Thanks

I've woken up to that one, I too am heavy hearted
I am not sure how I am going to deal with this, either give it a lot of thought and choose my words very carefully or leave that thread well alone because it is too unbearable
Thanks
