I was thinking your 9am, which is my 10pm. Better for me if it's earlier in your morning as I might want to go to bed by 10pm. But often I don't.
I don't know what your morning routine is though.
Bloody daylight savings, otherwise your 9am would be my 9pm.
Thanks
Peanut Posted Nov 15, 2011
I am off to bed now which means I will be up fairly early in the morning with no other commitments, yay
Hiccup doesn't have to go to school tomorrow till 11 so doubt she'll be up before 10
Thanks

Have you been enjoying your day off?
Had a good nights sleep me, out like a light before 10, how 'rock 'n' roll'...
Thanks

I slept in this morning. Bloody h2g2 the night before
I'm watching a political debate on Tv. We have a general election in 10 days.
Thanks
Peanut Posted Nov 16, 2011
I can't sit through the televised do-da, like politics hate politicing.
I am still scarred by the our last election, . I am still struggling to watch a lot of politics on TV, my skin crawls and as soon as someone says 'we wouldn't be doing all this if the last govt hadn't put us in this position' I switch over, blood boiling
I read a lot
How do you think yours is going to work out?
Thanks
kea ~ Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small, unregarded but very well read blue and white website Posted Nov 16, 2011
Don't know. We've just had 3 years of a right wing govt, and them getting another 3 is very scarey. They're new right, not conservative right, although they like to present themselves as centre right.
But, there's a whole bunch of hooha going on this week that may see them losing their coalition partner from parliament, and that could be a game changer
The TV things was with the minor parties thankfully. I couldn't bring myself to watch the main leaders' debate.
Thanks

Do you vote every three years, or has somthing happened to trigger an election
W are stuck with the Condems for five years and if the opposition don't start bloody opposing, we'll be stuck with the Consevatives for another five after that, *cowers*, I think it will probably be all over for the Liberals.
I'll keep my for you
Thanks

Thanks
Yes every three years, thank god.
You need electoral reform, there is no way out without it. We've got a referendum this time on whether to keep our current versions of proportional representation. I'm hoping that even if the country is stupid enough to vote in the Nats again*, at least they won't be stupid enough to vote out MMP.
*Swing voters, never understood them.
Thanks
Peanut Posted Nov 16, 2011
We so need electoral reform, there was so much confusion about how it all worked and what the implcations were. I explained to confused family and friends, using cutlery at a Sunday lunch, dinky cars at a friends, tatty rizzla packets at anothers ,an so on, my hit rate was quite reasonable, won over 8 out of 10
We won't get another chance again for donkey's years, best we can hope for is to turf this govt out but I'm not hopeful
Still can but try
Thanks

Where is Taff? Did he jump or was he pushed?
I've been sitting here reading political blogs and wondering if I should be bothered by watching you working while I"m thinking about going to bed
Thanks
Peanut Posted Nov 16, 2011
I demand that you are overwhelmed by guilt
I hope that Taff would come back after a cool off, editing thing, messy . No sign yet
I must go and on the Archers Board see what he is up to
Thanks
kea ~ Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small, unregarded but very well read blue and white website Posted Nov 16, 2011
Did something happen, or was it just everyone telling him to stop being an arse that made him leave?
Thanks
Peanut Posted Nov 16, 2011
Hiccup is up, I fill you in later
*thinks*
might be able to do something quick
Taff was when his title Are you a Dick got changed, fell back into beeb mode of responding to mods, set up, Are you a John, Are you a Tom and took his grievances into other threads
We had already had threads closed etc, which Taff had missed
There was no patience for it, which was unsdertandable
Why Taff was also understandable,
From there, there was the editing thread, which Taff missed out on again, just as everything had settled somewhat, Taff (bless) popped up again
It was a pickle, Taff didn't conduct himself as maturely as he might have and some of the responces were not as good as they might have been. One of those perfect storms
Think that sums it up
Key: Complain about this post
Thanks
