for your comment in that standards thread. I just was wondering if I would manage to keep my cool when I read your kindness and that allowed me to step away smiley - cheers

I think those kind of interventions are invaluable when things are getting heated, just what the community needs - honest and calm.

Thanks

Hi Kea

I hope you don't mind me saying, I flinched when you posted a link to a conversation in someones PS on a 'public forum'.
I do appreciate that nothing here is private but I felt it crossed some sort of line and I felt uncomfortable about it.
That could well be me being unreasonable and over reacting - I've never got the rules about posting to personal spaces or conversations on them which why it feels to me like such a big deal when I do it.

Would you mind talking me through it?

smiley - cheers

Peanut (who might be posting and smiley - run depends on how long the teenager takes hairstyling upstairs smiley - biggrin )

Thanks

No worries, Peanut. There is alot of thread confusion going on at the moment.

If it's the link I'm thinking of, I wouldn't have posted it if it was on someone's PS. Generally I'd ask permission to post to someone's PS unless it was an obviously public conversation. There have been some exceptions (eg during the Della wars where people's behaviour affected the whole community and so I think some people lost their right to that etiquette).

I thought you would ask first, which is why I was flummexed when I saw it there. It felt wrong on two levels, one what I thought you did and two because it was you who did it (if you get my drift)
I felt badly when I realised my mistake and cussed myself soundly because I should have double checked, you would have of course bl**dy well asked first (except under exceptional circumstances you mentioned)

Thanks

Hi Peanut,

sorry, I tried replying last night but it looks like it got fried in the dna glitch.

MeetSheep smiley - bigeyes...

Do you want it in the Calender or the Traditions/Customs or both?

Thanks

Post 10

Peanut

Perhaps meetsheep's birthday in the calender and his story on customs and traditions smiley - biggrin

While the little guy can never be replaced we have our own meet sheeps, which are all special in their own unique way.
