A woman is right.
Actress maybe.
But she is known for her stand-up fame.
(barely...this ones tough but I love the quote)
Hej elwood!
Bagpuss Posted Mar 8, 2002
British commedienne. I suppose she was unlikely, but you did claim it was obscure.

Shea the Sarcastic Posted Mar 9, 2002
After numerous repeats on the Comedy Channel ... is #108 Rita Rudner?
Hej elwood!
elwood Posted Mar 11, 2002
IT IS!!! I'm shocked. This was (I thought) the most obscure quotequiz yet. But guessed by the second contestant buzzing in!
Congratulations to the lovely and talented Shea of Long Island!
And so you don't feel left out of the festivities Bagpuss, here's a parting gift A NEW BAG FOR YOUR PUSS and thank you for playing!
Hej elwood!
Bagpuss Posted Mar 11, 2002
It was obscure enough for me.
*thinks that comment could only be made by someone who never watched the programme*
Hej elwood!
Shea the Sarcastic Posted Mar 12, 2002
Comedy Central always shows programs of different stand-up comedians. But they only seem to have about 5 of them, so they show them over and over and over and over ... you get the idea.
Hej elwood!

#109 up and
(I've seen Rita Rudner live with Dennis Miller. Both very funny but a strange double bill)
Hej elwood!

You're becoming the new Ottox! You cheat but then confess immeadiately. I'm not even sure that can be concidered cheating anymore?
It's like a confession/compulsion...now don't try to convince me you really shot Kennedy.
Hej elwood!
Bagpuss Posted Mar 15, 2002
Is 110 Craig David in an unusual burst of honesty?
Probably not.
I suspect it's another DJ, but I don't know of any American DJs except Howard Stern.
Hej elwood!
Ottox Posted Mar 15, 2002
I could guess this without cheating!
Elvis!
And when *I* cheat, I don't just say the name, but tries to find some "interesting" fact or something...
Hej elwood!
elwood Posted Mar 15, 2002
Always trolling for the bonus points with the interesting facts, aren't you!
Harvey's Rock Music Champion is the correct answer. Congrats!
Hej elwood!
Ottox Posted Mar 16, 2002
Sad... I still can't understand how that happened! *rolls eyes*
It's too boring to cheat if you just do it to find the name!
Hej elwood!
T J: Mr. Shea Posted Mar 20, 2002
Is 112 Henry Ford? No cheating this time, just making a guess based on the clue.
::points to Ford F150 Pickup in driveway::
Hej elwood!
T J: Mr. Shea Posted Mar 20, 2002
The "F 150" link in the previous post was purely accidental. F 150 is the name of a model of pickup truck produced by the FORD Motor Company. Any similarity between them and any actual living persons is purely coincidental and should not be construed as an endorsement of their products of services....

Please hold the company adverts for the allotted Quotequiz commercial breaks. You can start jumping up and down and squeeling because you are correct. The Edsel is on it's way to replace the F 150.
