We've been getting a lot of September 11 stuff here too. I have steadfastly avoided watching the majority of it. The exception was a program which went into detail about why the WTC towers collapsed (from an engineering point-of-view).

That's the same program I've been watching! I've avoided watching most footage of the incident since the day it happened, but at this point, the documentaries plastered all over the airwaves today have filled in the gaps I wanted to know.
It's still very difficult to grasp this.

... of course, it would help if I turned off the television in the bedroom and stopped watching mentally stimulating stuff about the WTC.
It seems you helped me to get sleepy by *not* stimulating me mentally, ER. One post from you is the equivalent of a sleeping pill.
ER Goodnight, I think.

I hope she woke up in time to go to w**k this morning!
I suppose you're headed to the beach this morning/night, ER....
Hey, that means while he's gone the rest of us can do all kinds of things in his fan club that he'd never allow otherwise!

I've learned to say you're cute ... in a manly sort of way to keep them from getting annoyed at being called cute ...

So what do you think would look best in here?
French Provincial furniture, or Victorian?

Shea the Sarcastic Posted Sep 12, 2002
Definitely Victorian! You can jam a lot of frufru into a Victorian motif ...

Quite true....
Now, what color should we paint the walls? I was thinking a nice lavender to go with the frilly pink curtains...

Lavender on the top with a nice floral print wallpaper halfway up, I think ...

Oh, nice touch!
I have lots of ruffled doilies we can put on these lovely old victorian tables, I think they'll be just the thing!

Oh no, not at all!
We've just decided that while ER's gone for the next week or 2, we should spruce the place up a bit - it needs a woman's touch, don't you think?
