I'll definately be going to see LOTR, although not today, or for a few weeks yet I think. I'll wait until after the kids have gone back to school. I read it every year for about 5 years running, but I haven't picked it up for about 20 years now. Maybe it's high time I did again.

I have never read LOTR 
I tried to read it as a child but it was before I got this dyslexia thing cracked and it was full of words which I could not make sense out of 
Made up words and complex words were things I jsut could not cope with for ages. I guess I should try again now that I have 'ways' of reading that work better ...

All I can say is that it won't hurt to try....It's well worth it IMHO
by the way the movie rocked...of course they left parts out but I think they kept the really important things and did it great lets just say the movie is just as huge as the book....but then that again is my veiw of it
