Oh, lots of work, you know the sort of thing. I'm on holiday myself next week, so I'm expecting this gorgeous weather to have given way to blizzards by then. In the meantime, I've got a stinking cold to fight off.

Now that's what I call a tall drink!
I'm only really planning on a bit of a rest. I might get in a bit of walking (if the weather holds), or make some use of my NT membership.

You're an NT member PF? So was I before I came to Texas. Whilst driving around the country for a living I used it often to visit all sorts of places. Flatford Mill and Willy Lott's cottage in Suffolk was particularly exciting since we had a biscuit tin depicting lots of Constable paintings when I was a kid
I really enjoyed Paycock's in Essex and Standen in... Surrey? too

I've only recently become a member; it was a birthday present. I haven't had any chance to make use of it yet, though.

It's great - if you're paying for it as a member you figure you ought to use it, so it encourages you to go out and see all these wonderful places

Life is pretty good for me - been really hectic - if you dont count the few days off when I did very little except visit friends, see a play, visit the family and sleep!
Was back to work with a bump today - a recruitment day that we were running for another site - only good thing was that it was closer to home than Brum so I get a bonus night here
What has been happening with everyone else?

Thats a short shift
I am back to Brum in the morning (or did I mention that already) There are roadworks at the top of the M40 where it meets the M42 which I gather are causing long delays so I will have to go quite early.
Mind you its been so long since I was last in Brum my landlady sent me a text yesterday to ask when / if I would be back!
