Tilly - back in mauve

Currently listening to: The comforting bubbly sound coming from the aquarium smiley - fish... It really isn't an aquarium, it's a punch bowl smiley - erm with fish in it... Yeah, my family's a bit weird smiley - weird

What? smiley - yikes You've found another one? Hmm. You know... An evil plot of mine is hatching smiley - chick Maybe we could... Yeah! smiley - wow Let's conquer the world and rule it! smiley - winkeye *Evil, manical, Phantom of the Opera-like laughter* smiley - devil We ought to find a suitable name for our unique group... The Freaks? The Otcasts? No, that's allready taken, darnit. Well, we'll probably think of something. Are you with me, Yeah or Nay? Let's lead a revolution! smiley - wow

Okay, I better fetch my medication before I get too excited... smiley - weird *Swallows a bottle of blue fluid* Ahh... *Starts humming 'We Are the World'* smiley - bigeyes

And I've been thinking about that violinist I liked... Let's make a summary;
smiley - musicalnote He sings
smiley - musicalnote He has brown curly hair
smiley - musicalnote He's a bit small and "round about edges"
smiley - musicalnote His name is possibly Mikail, which is the Swedish version of Michael...
Which other guy do I love which would fit all that smiley - blush? Too bad I can't remember what kind of nose he had. This is getting creepy - and I didn't think of it before now smiley - yikes... That's it, I'm obsessed. More medication please *Starts uncorking a bottle of purple fluid*

You know, I'm convinced we have the same version of 'Interview With the Vampire' - that quote on the backside has always bothered the hell out of me too! smiley - cross Once I was reading it at school a friend mine reads the quote and sais; "Oh, it's one of *those* books. Gee, I didn't think you read that stuff..." and when I convinced him it wasn't the case, I was asked to read something from it. Right then I was at the excact part where Louis has just become a vampire smiley - vampire and has to sleep with Lestat in his coffin... smiley - erm Let me just say, he wasn't convinced for long...

The Lestat-dancing-with-the-dead-woman scene in the movie version has actually become a kind of cult-scene I've been told... And the song Lestat chants always gets stuck in my head smiley - weird "Ah nortcha drif, far falorna, ah maralorana solo/Áno ta jorn, no de corn, no jeraten no..." smiley - musicalnote (Funny, I really didn't know the word to that song before I looked them up on the net today smiley - geek)

And yes, 'Lestat the Vampire' comes second, and then 'Queen of the Damned' - I haven't reached to the last one yet... smiley - vampire

Chemistry? I have bearly had that in school this year - I've had some tests, but it's the experiments I like (example given by you; Make things explode smiley - scientist) This year all we had was forcing the boiled egg into the tube smiley - zzz. But last year we learned about poison smiley - devil I learned all about making shifty eyes in the laboratory to make everyobdy nervous smiley - winkeye

And we bought loads of candy - and we've eaten most of it... I don't feel so good smiley - ill

Yeah, let's!

Currently Listening to: The Radio, again. Gosh I'm feeling pretty tired. Ever had one of *those* days smiley - blue Ugh..

The school day was just TERRIBLE! smiley - devil *grins* I got in trouble with my RE teacher. I'll let you in on a little secret but you have to promise that it'll go no further. Promise? Good.

We have had over 4 weeks to work on our RE essay (title: If God exists and is good: Why does He allow so much suffering? What the hell?) I, of course, hadn't the faintist idea what to do. So it put it off for as long as possible, planning to do it on the last weekend available. Alas, I forgot. So when I went into school and discovered that I had until tommorow to hand in my (6 A5 pages, word processed onto A4 paper) essay I completely panicked! As the teacher was walking round looking at the people tapping away on the computers merrily, there was me seated on the desks which are in the center of the room scribbling franticly on a peice of scrap paper:

Teacher: Natalie?
Me: Urr.. yes?
Teacher: Where's your work?
Me: I umm, I've had to re-do it several times. This is my third I mean tenth go at this. I'm having real problems...
Teacher: Well you should have come and asked for help! I'm very dissapointed in you. Here look at Alex's, she did it very well. I hope you're up to the same standard by tommorow...

Ha! In your face Mrs.H! I managed to do 3 A4 pages in 2 hours! I'm safe.. yay!

I don't wish to sound like your mother but: "Tilly, I'm worried smiley - erm I think you need a LOT more medicine *gets funnel and jams down Tilly's mouth pouring bottle after bottle down* there you go!"

I'm being forced off my rock! Nooo *grabs hold of keyboard and drags it out of the room with her* I'm soo sorry this is so short, je deteste mes parentes!! Arrgh!
I promise to write some more soon..

I'm baaack! smiley - biggrin Sorry I had to cut it so short last night, my Mum was litterally dragging me from the keyboard... seeing as it's a new day I may as well start again

"Pain is inevitable; suffering is optional."
-Unknown

"Do something every day that you don't want to do; this is the golden rule for acquiring the habit of doing your duty without pain."
-Mark Twain (1835 - 1910)

Currently Listening to: My Rock being it's usual loud, buzzing self smiley - smiley At least it's back to normal, I was worried it had a virus or somthing. Virus, gettit? I thought it was ill/ had a virus. Gettit?Ahh, I'm hilarious...smiley - laugh

*waltzes round the room* smiley - musicalnote"Ah nortcha drif, far falorna, ah maralorana solo/Áno ta jorn, no de corn, no jeraten no..." smiley - musicalnote
Vickie taught me to waltz today! It was funny watching her doing it alone, we were in hysterics. I'm not sure if she was doing it properly or was making it up as she went along smiley - erm How's a person supposed to learn to copy Lestat when she's being taught a load of pants smiley - steam!

I nearly broke my thumb today smiley - yuk I was walking towards the front of the bus when it lurched forward suddenly, smiley - flyhi sending my flying into the metal bar. I put out my hand to save myself but ended up hurling my full weight onto my poor thumb smiley - injured The bus driver drives like he's never been introduced to the road. I was falling all over the seats and other passengers as he swerved to avoid oncoming cars and people("Durr, where did they come from smiley - huh") It's most annoying when you're trying to read your book and you can't seem to stop yourself from rolling down the aisle smiley - grr

Poison? smiley - yikes Woah, I've always said you were sane. I know you wouldn't hurt me would you Tilly old chum, heh.. smiley - erm
Lucky, we only blow things up.smiley - scientist But today we did get to spend the entire time finding out information on the planet Mars. I know it's not really Chemistry but it was fun none the less smiley - geek Speaking of which, I'm supposed to be giving a 5 min presentation on it next thursday. Know anything interesting about that little red planetsmiley - mars?

I know that it's two moons are Deimos & Phobos (meaning panic and err, fear?) and that it's red because it's rusting.smiley - star Also on an unrelated subject, DID YOU KNOW:
smiley - starThat when you look at the sun, you are in fact looking at what it looked like 8 mins ago?
smiley - starThat Alpha Centuri (The nearest star to earth) is over 4 billion light years away?
smiley - starThat the stars in the sky may not even be there anymore? It takes so long to get to earth that the stars or constallations you see at night may no longer even exist.
smiley - starThat if the earth were to get sucked into a black hole it's matter would be compressed into the size of a matchbox?
smiley - starThat there are 88 universally agreed constallations in the sky. Twelve of which are used for the signs of the zodiac?

There, now I have impressed you with my vast knowledge and skill, can I persuade you to write my speech for me smiley - winkeye

YES! Our revolution will show everyone who ever called us sad that we are immotal beings of power!! Hahhha! Hmm, I'm not quite sure. Should we revolt? I'm not 100% positive if leading a revolution is the sort of thing us teenage girls should be doing. Knitting and vampire horror appeal more, actually instead of the knitting could we have mass donut eating instead smiley - donut?

I think you're obsessed with Mikail. You're in love! You want to hug him, you want to kiss him, you want to marry him, you want hiiim! smiley - angel I promise not to keep on going on about it smiley - devil

I'm sick of getting SPAM. It really bugs me, I must have got 3 letters in the last 3 mins telling me that if I don't pass it onto 10 other people 'I will have bad sex' smiley - erm I'm not quite ready for that kind of comittment yet so my reply was 'Ooh I'm so scared.' I know who it is who keeps on sending them, I'll just have to block her. I also got one threataning me with 'Bad breath' smiley - laugh *sniffs and checks* Well I did just have onions...

I'm going to France, I'm going to France!! Next Wednesday!!! I'll miss not talking to you but I will try to survive... the whole day. I saw my History teacher on the bus, he was wearing wrap around skiing sunglasses and was in his bright yellow fiat, trying desperately to look cool smiley - yuk I don't think he can even see with those glasses on, he didn't realise that he could drive around the bus as it was parked. He tries so hard to be trendy, but if you're not cool there's nothing you can do about it. It just comes naturally smiley - cool I wouldn't know of course...smiley - blue

Today was ok, I got my essay in on time and she was happy. Our RE teacher, you understand is the most hated in the school. It has come to light that tommorow her form will allow us to throw wet sponges at her for charity. 20p for 3 wet sponges (I'm buying £50's worth smiley - winkeye) I'm certainly looking forward to tommorow, I'd better go to sleep now so the day comes quickly. It's just like christmas...smiley - xmastree

Ok Mr Moderator (Or Miss) we need to have a little talk.

I admit, one line of what I wrote was in another language, but I think it's unfair to have the message hidden. I honestly don't know what it meant, it was just a song from a movie. If you want to follow this up the film was 'Interview With The Vampire' I meant no harm and would really appreciate it if you would put it back up.smiley - grovel PLEASE!!

smiley - blue I'm sorry, as much as I love h2g2 I must say, you're awfully strict sometimes. I'm sorry I had to reply in a posting, but the e-mail hasn't yet arrived. I was notified by a friend. Thanks for your time.

R.G.W - And at no point during this outing did I run the risk of being cool... [temporarily or possibly permanently missing]

smiley - cdouble Well, seeing as I'm having to type all this up again *looks pleadingly at moderator* this may be somewhat out of date...

"Arguments are to be avoided; they are always vulgar and often convincing."
-Oscar Wilde

"I am a deeply superficial person."
-Andy Warhol

Currently listening to: Nothing. I'm not used to this kind of silence.smiley - erm It's the uncomfortable, evil kind of quiet. *cough* I'm just going to go and put the radio on... ahh that's better smiley - smiley.

I'm not very sure we should label ourselves the outcasts. It may not be the best of names, how about 'The Strangers'? It works on so many levels smiley - silly We're strange and not many people know who we are. Actually I'm not sure teenagers such as ourselves should be leading revolutions. We should be doing things that other people our age are doing such as talking about boys and experimenting with makeup... smiley - erm you're right, LETS REVOLT smiley - wow!!

smiley - schooloffish Why are your fish in a punch bowl? I'm sure that's not normal. Sounds rather cool actually, I'll have to do that smiley - tongueout

Methinks you're in love with this Mikail smiley - winkeye Do I hear the sound of wedding bells in the air? Oh no, It's the doorbell smiley - blush But seriously, can this relationship ever amount to anything? Is he Swedish? How old is he? These are questions you need to seriously consider before jumping into this kind of commitment. In the meantime, keep your mind off him by taking up a new hobby such as tennis smiley - borg, astronomy smiley - planet, football smiley - football or sheepshearing smiley - sheep

smiley - biggrin I have sorted out the quote at the back of my book. I bought some blue tinted sticky tape and have covered up the word erotic with possibly 45 layers. It worked believe it or not, It looks a bit strange. Whenever someone tries to point it out to me or take it off thinking it a bit of rubbish, I scream at them to leave it alone smiley - cross It's hard for me to do this, I don't normally, purposely, disfigure my books. I normally look after them, but this is just embarrassing smiley - flustered.

smiley - yikes Poison? *Laughs nervously* You're joking right? Heh heh, funny. Really funny.. heh...
We're doing a project on the planet Mars at the moment. It's quite interesting but at the end of it we're supposed to have a 5 min presentation prepeared on it smiley - mars I'm quite knowledgeable on the subject of the universe actually .. did you know that:

smiley - star The nearest star to earth (Alpha Centuri) is over 4 billion lightyears away?
smiley - star If the earth were to be sucked into a black hole, physisists predict that it would be compressed into somthing the size of a match box?
smiley - star The planet Mars has two moons, Deimos and Phobos. Meaning panic and terror after the two servants of the Roman mythological god of war (Mars)?
smiley - star When you look at the sun, you're seeing it as it was 8 minutes ago?
smiley - star The stars that you see in the sky may not be there anymore? Even as you're looking at them they may not actually be there. It takes the star's light so long to reach earth that the star may have already died by the time it gets here.

Now I have impressed you with my vast knowledge of the universe maybe I could persuade you to write my presentation for me smiley - winkeye

smiley - nahnah I'm going to France on Wednesday. Oh wait, you already know that. Telling you for the 5 millionth time couldn't hurt *watches Tilly hurl herself out of the window* Hey! Come back here, I haven't told you about what I'm going to eat while I'm there...

I'm really looking forward to sitting on a coach for 6 hours with people constantly throwing things and asking me if I'm a greebo... smiley - steam Ugh, we got stuck sharing a coach with the class that I hate. Everyone who's in it, either thinks I'm the bride of Satan or I have a mental disorder. I must say that I resent these comments, we're not married smiley - devil Heh, I'm going to act as oddly as I can just to make the time more interesting smiley - weird. Look out France, here comes Nate!!!

Seeing as we're going to be leaving at 4 in the morning, I think it will be too dark to read. Oh no!!! That means I'm going to have to talk to my seatmate for the whole of the journey. Well, I suppose I could listen to my radio or play some classical music on my portable cd player. Small problem, I don't have any batteries... smiley - wah This trip's going to be a disaster smiley - blue

My Dad is willingly coming shopping with me tommorow! smiley - biggrin Brave man. It's ok for him, we both spend all our time in the bookstores. I love shopping with my Dad, he never spends more time than is necessary looking in shops. He goes in gets what he wants then comes out.
But we do both have the awful habbit of lingering in bookshops. There's a really nice bookshop in St Albans, it's attached to a coffee shop! So you can have a coffee and donut while reding whatever you want without any obligation to buy smiley - donut I can't imagine they do much business though. The shop I'm going to tommorow is Waterstones, It's not as freindly but has a vast selection of everything you can imagine. It's absolutely massive, three floors! Jeez, I always love going there.

Well I think that was a long enough posting, to make up for my bad behaviour.smiley - grovel Will you forgive me? I certainly hope so..
Ta for now,

Currently listening to: The bubbly sound from the punch bowl again. I think we will have a lot of that, since it's on the computer desk smiley - silly

Nah, the only reason I like this Mikail is because he plays violin like a god and that he reminds me about the man of my dreams smiley - loveblush... which reminds me, do you know that the man of my dreams turned 40 last Thursday? S'true. I'm madly in love with a a 40-year old *Gasp*. A man 25 years older than me. smiley - winkeye I beat Tine anyway, which is having an affair with a man only 19 years older than her smiley - flustered! Wait, she's having an affair with the man of her dreams, while I've said 4 whole words to mine... Which of us win again? smiley - erm

*Crawls back in after having hurled herself through window* Damn. Next time I gotta remember to open it first *Spits out glass fragments* Oh, and it looks like we're all travelling into the big world: Next week I'm going to Denmark with my family. Yay smiley - erm. (Notice the < erm &gtsmiley - winkeye Well, there's a chance it won't be *that* bad - now I'm travelling to to places I've never been to before: København and Tivoli. Lots of culture there, at least smiley - smiley My previous Denmark-travels have been rather boring, I'm afraid, but hopefully this won't be just as... boring. Finger's crossed.

I went shopping with my mum today. Most girls my age would have come home with lots of clothes, make up and perhaps a poster of some hunky guy... But no, not me. Wanna know what I brought home? A Josh Groban CD and a dream catcher smiley - biggrin I love being unique. Actually, there was a travelling market from Sweden (and no, Mikail wans't there smiley - winkeye ) where I spotted this large dream catcher. I've now put it up in my window. Only problem is, it got feathers. A lot of feathers. And I've got a kitten smiley - cat. Make out the problem for yourself smiley - erm. How can you teach a playfyl little kitten that it isn't some large strange bird perched, no, hanging in my window, but a magic web for catching my bad dreams in order to make them disappear in the sunlight? smiley - weird Er, I think I'll simply hang it a little higher...

Well, I gotta go and eat my favourite food: Tacos smiley - tongueout Tacos! Tacos! Go tacos! Go tacos! Wohoo! (Sorry, but I simply love tacos)

That reminds me of a really bad joke my Dad told me: How'd you turn a duck into a soul singer? Put him in the oven till his Bill Withers smiley - laugh It seemed much more funny after a bottle of wine...smiley - erm

*dances about crazily and doesn't stop* Don't ask why I'm doing this...

Ooh! Tacos! Mmm... smiley - tongueout You've made me hungry now. I've got to wait another hour for my Mum to cook the dinner smiley - wah I think we're having chicken burgers tonight smiley - burger I love them don't get me wrong, but I was craving somthing light and salady. Maybe couscous?

"How can you teach a playfyl little kitten that it isn't some large strange bird perched, no, hanging in my window, but a magic web for catching my bad dreams in order to make them disappear in the sunlight.." Erm, draw it a picture? Maybe if you learnt to speak cat you could tell her not to smiley - silly Makes perfect sense to me..

I've got 3 dream catchers, I have lots of bad dreams smiley - flustered So would you if you know half the people I know. They're not big, they're kind of medium sized. One's purple, one's brown leather the other's got wind chimes on the bottom. I like variety smiley - smiley

*grins in an evil manner* 25 years older eh? Heh heh.smiley - winkeye The man of MY dreams is 49 years older than me. Maybe even 50 years older... yup, Anthony Hopkins is 63. I win! But then again I have never spoken to or even met him in my entire life *eyes brim with tears, and her dancing slows down to a steady sway* smiley - cry I'm never even going to meet him...EVER smiley - wah! Currently listening to: A Swedish version of "Stars in their eyes" on the TV. The current song is, er... 'My star' with the guy I can't remember the name of right now. "...If my star should fall..." smiley - star

I've just returned from my tacos-meal. Of course I was far too eager and burnt my fingers and tongue... Aow smiley - bruised. It was worth it, though smiley - tongueout

Well, my dream catcher is brown with black string, and as I said, lots of brown and white feathers. And it's quite large, as I said. When I was about to buy it I noticed I was 40 kr (= £3,48308) short smiley - cross. I tried to haggle the prize down (although I admit it was surprisignly cheap allready) but to no avail... In the end I borrowed them from my father and promised him I should to do some dishes...

Oh, now they switched to 'Private Emotion' with Ricky Martin and Maja on the TV... God, I'm sick of that song..! smiley - steam

Yeah, and last night I had this really weird dream smiley - weird... Totally incredible. I can't remember any of it now, but I do remember the actor Alan Alda was in it. And something about a box of crackers. Other than that, I can't remember smiley - cdouble I've had so much weirder dreams though. In one (I always make this my example), I'm riding alone in this really neat red convertible car smiley - cool, in the middle of nowhere. I get to a roundabout, and in the middle of it, stands the Phantom of the Opera (black cape, mask, and everything!) and paints a little shed in a bright yellow colour. I keep driving round and round it, and each time I pass it, he lowers his paintbrush and gives me a friendly wave smiley - ok. And it just continues and continues and continues until I wake up... smiley - weird I've had this dream several times, and no one can figure out what it means...

When I discussed this with Tine, she gave me one of her own examples, a dream she often gets when she's stressed out: She gets the image of a little white mice folding a tiny matress, and repeating over and over "The cheese is best! The cheese is best!" smiley - bigeyes. Dreams are so incredible weird. Got anything to share? smiley - winkeye

Oh, I just heard on BBC World just now that next week they're having a programme about Douglas Adams! smiley - wow "The man that blew up the planet"... - I don't watch BBC World that often, but I gotta catch exactly when it's on!

Gotta go again - Dad just brought in the chocolate smiley - choc

I'm having a conversation with my friend on IM, and she keeps on leaving me to believe that the computer is there to be incorrect smiley - huh She has a terrible understanding of basic English, your grammar is much better than hers. I wish she'd stop using slang and read a book "well its slang and on the comp ur not meant to be correct the whole time thats what its for"
Our conversation was going like this. I'm copying and pasting:

ME:That made no grammatical sense
HER:oh i meant ill invite u in when toby comes online and that i want him to actually come online now
ME:Ahh. Ok, I follow.
HER:well done stupid
ME:Normally I would give you a virtual smack in the mouth for that, but my Mum's baking babka and I'm in too much of a good mood to let your catty remark bother me. Besides, I can kill you on the bus. What are you gonna wear on Wednesday...
HER: oh im scared im gona wear jeans and a t shirt with a hooded zip up jumper
ME:You are scared that you are going to wear jeans and a hoodie?

smiley - cross It's awful, I can't have a half decent conversation with anyone. Except maybe two people (you and a boy called Rob, thankgod someone else writes in proper sentances)

smiley - wow Wow! It's about time the BBC gave another tribute to the legend that is Douglas Adams. *sniff* He is sorely missed..smiley - cry If I don't see it, please tell me all about it.

Mmm, mama's bakin babka!!! My Mum never makes it! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, Grandma's gonna be proud!smiley - biggrin She keeps on trying to get me to make Perogghi and applepie but I seem to end up being the taste tester in the end and never actually making anything. I love visiting my Gran!

smiley - erm Alan Alda and a box of crackers? Tiny white mice and matresses? The Phantom of the Opera and a convertable? Your whole family are completely insane! Actually my dreams aren't much more normal than yours. In fact, they are completely the opposite of normal. I'm famous in our class for the sole pupose of what I dream...
*blushes deeply* smiley - flustered I'm going to have to tell you now aren't I?

Currently listening to: 'Blue Moon' spinning in my head smiley - cdouble They played it on the radio yesterday, and it still hasn't stopped playing in my head...

Oh, I hate people usng slang like that when I chat with them smiley - cross. It's even more horrible in Norwegian, when it's a mix between Norwegian slang and English... I have to read it aloud several times before I at all get the meaning. Incredible irritating smiley - steam

Oh, and I see that you keep changing your IM nickname quite rapidly smiley - bigeyes Ah, a new surprise for me to see every day. I'm working on another nickname for myself now - something more... slightly terrifying smiley - vampire. Or something dull smiley - geek - I still haven't decided. Nah, I think I'll go with terrifying smiley - devil

Ah, lucky you - my mum never bakes anything. Or my father. Or my sisters *Sigh* smiley - blue... No, my sister Trude often bakes things, but since she lives quite a long way from here I never get to taste... Oh, my father's making meatloaf! smiley - tongueout I love meatloaf nearly just as much as I love Tacos! Especially with plenty of sauce, potatoes and jam. Mmm... I think I'm drooling smiley - tongueout

Of course you have to tell me your dreams! smiley - doh Tellmetellmetellme! Every little detail... And perhaps I'll even tell you my dream about Lestat smiley - winkeye Dang, I shared too much now, didn't I? smiley - yikes Well, it had to come out sooner or later... smiley - tongueout I would rather hear about your Lestat dreams than talk about my own. My dreams are ,how should I put this, exceptionally weird. Heard of Salvidor Dali? That's what we're talking along the lines of...smiley - erm

I promise to tell you my dreams but not now, I've got too much homework which is why this posting's going to be so short. I've got Geography, DT, Latin and History to do smiley - cdouble Our Geography's mega hard. It's drawing a graph plotting on it 2 details for every single country that was in the world cup smiley - yikes My History is taking ages and my Latin hasn't even been started yet smiley - blue Oh dear...

My IM nickname? Ahh yes. Yesterday I was 'Dr Lecter Md' then 'Lestat' then 'Norman Bates: come stay at my hotel *wink*' then today I changed it to 'Queen Of The Damned' Phew, all that chopping and changing has made my dead tired smiley - winkeye I suggest you go with somthing exciting and morbid for your IM nickname it will suit you.

Speaking of The Vampire Chronicles, I seem to be reading them in a strange order smiley - erm I couldn't find 'The Vampire Lestat' when I went shopping today, but I found 'The Queen Of The Damned' As I was so desperate to buy somthing to read on Wednesday I ended up getting it along with Catch-22 by Joseph Heller and I also got it on discount smiley - wow Check out my latest journal entry for the full, boring story...

smiley - biggrin We got the chance to throw wet sponges at our RE teacher on Friday! She was wearing waterproof clothing so that took some of the fun out of it... but it was fun anyway. It cost 25p for 3 throws and some girls put their money together and for £5 got to throw the whole bucket of water at her. I donated as much as I had on me smiley - devil

I'd beter go and do my History, it's a leaflet on why Britan won the war. Boooorrrriiiinnngggg smiley - yuk Then it's a two page essay on the walls surrounding Pompeii, what is that about smiley - huh It would be too much to ask for her to give us somthing interesting to do smiley - cross

Currently listening to: The usual bubbly sound smiley - geek

Ah yes, you've got homework to do. For school. You still haven't started on your summer vacation... Hah! smiley - nahnah *Dances around in a little circle* Nate is trapped in schoo-ool! Nate is trapped in schoo-ool! I'm not! I'm not! smiley - nahnah

Okay, that was a bit cruel smiley - cry... But you got a small vacation from school when the Queen had her celebration! Our silly Queen isn't even near 50 years in the throne smiley - cross... But you have to tell me your dreams sooner or later smiley - tongueout Salvador Dali or not. And I will exchange my dream meet with a certain tall, blonde vampire smiley - vampire But not before.

Yesterday I went to the city with my mum and Tine. We had planned to go and take a look at a big outdoors art-collection, but we quickly made certain that the artist wasn't original in any way smiley - artist We love sounding like professionals smiley - winkeye So afterwards we went down to Aker Brygge to take a look at all the street performers. Oslo is always flowing with foreign street performers in the summer that travels there from mostly Russia and Holland, live on their performing for three months and then travel back to their families... I love street performers - and Aker Brygge is full of the elite, since that is the 'in'-place for wealthy people. Last night I saw the best juggler I've ever seen. I didn't catch his name, but he was from Amsterdam and juggled for a living. He was tall, slender and dressed in a battered tuxedo and a black bowler - a true street performer. Love them smiley - bigeyes.

Today Tine and I is going with Daniel to the city again. Maybe take a stroll in the Frogner park and then we have planned to check out a shop for magic and occult things we've found smiley - devil That will certainly be interesting...

Gotta go yet again - Roosta is waiting for me to brush his fur (he certainly is a spoilt hamster) Ta!

"Life... is like a grapefruit. It's orange and squishy, and has a few pips in it, and some folks have half a one for breakfast."

Currently Listening to: 'Mercy mercy me' (by Marvin Gaye on The Very Best Of Marvin Gaye) turned up so loud everything else is being drowned out. smiley - wow Exactly how I want it to be...

*Watches Tilly dance around in a circle with a stony look on her face* smiley - geek I have 2 weeks and 3 days left at school, I am going insane. You my friend, are driving me to the brink of insanity. I hope you're happy...*watches Tilly continue to dance* Ok, you obviously are happy that I'm going insane, good for you.

*sighs*smiley - groan I suppose I'm going to have to tell you about my dreams sooner or later. smiley - erm Promise you won't laugh? Ok, here it goes...
I dreamt once that, wooden spoons were taking over the world and I screamed at them and their leader for insulting my Mum. I also dreamt that I was interviewing The Backstreet Boys in a sauna...but that one was a LONG time ago. I also had a dream where I looked exactly like Claudia from 'The Interview..' and I was flying down the steps of my old house looking in search for blood. The strange thing was when I dreamt this I had never even heard of Anne Rice or any of the books smiley - yikes My dreams have always been strange, they are in fact the strangest of strange. It's disturbing smiley - vampire

Heh heh, now you have to tell me your dream smiley - winkeye Come on, I'm waiting...

smiley - wow I got £21 worth of presents today! My friend Sarah was giving away all her old toys to the jumble sale. Me, being my inquisative self, rummaged through the bag and pulled out loads of Beanie Babies! I went through that stage of buying them en masse, but there's always been a soft spot in my heart for them smiley - biggrin Sarah said I could have as many as I liked. So I went home with 4! Heh heh smiley - smiley A white rat called Cheezer, a stoat called Runner, a goat called Goatee and a really cool spaced out rabbit called Springy! Yes, I know I'm sad. And Sarah also bought me a pair of earrings, hearts with a skull inside smiley - skull (weird I know..)

Somehow, these beanie babies managed to get free in the History lesson but to our surprise our History teacher didn't confiscate them. But instead started playing with them smiley - doh He was making these mini teddy bears passionately kiss other beanies and then started to brush the lions hair! He got rather enthusiastic when he found out I had a goat, and asked if I wanted to swop for the Lion. Bearing in mind he's a 20 yearold man who is teaching the most serious of all subjects. Does that not strike you as odd? I found this all really funny...

I did the quiz. It was fun! I never get any of those, lucky! I've gotta go and do, yet more, homework. I'm going to France on Wednesday!!! Yay!!

Tilly - back in mauve

Currently listening to: Some American action on the TV... I'm a bit irritated by that, since I saw that tonight's episode of 'Buffy; The Vampire Slayer' is mostly about Spike, the only character I have a tiny like for smiley - vampire... But my father would rather see '24 Hours' which is on at the exactly same time smiley - cross Okay, so my father is a major fan of '24 Hours' and I really, really dislike 'Buffy', but [fill in some objection that I'll be content with here]

Okay, it's time to tell you something about my dream; It's not that interesting. Hah! fooled ya! smiley - nahnah... It's more sort of weird smiley - erm. I'm on this party right, and I'm having a really boring time (I think they continuosly play N*Sync smiley - erm) but a lot of my friends past and current (and one dead) goes up to me and ask, "So, Tilde. Are you having a good time?" and I nod and smile, obviously lying. Then, across the room (that is such a clichè, isn't it smiley - huh Of course he's 'across the room') I see this tall, slender, blonde, intense guy staring at me smiley - blush. Obviously Lestat. Although it's really loud (N*Sync and all) I hear him say "You know who I am." (notice the pressure on the 'know' smiley - geek) I ask quite loudly if anyone else heard that, and get the reply "Heard what?" so obviously not. He walks up to me, he's dressed in a black tuxedo and he's got a purple tie with images of little kittens on smiley - weird and we dance the night away to Bach - which is funny, really because you can't dance to Bach smiley - silly

Boring, right? He didn't attempt to feed on me or anything smiley - vampire Although I remember he once smiled and displayd his fangs. And the tie, always the tie... And he got this really deep, piercing laughter. That's all, folks smiley - geek. I gotta get out more...
The Backstreet Boys? In a sauna? smiley - erm I think we gotta have a long talk some time... Although that is a dream my sister would kill for smiley - zzz.

What, you're collecting Beanie Babies too? smiley - yikes Creepier and creepier... Although mine is not that much of a collection; I currently have four, and I'm only interested in the bears... Oh, we live such sad lives, don't we? Which reminds me, my sister discovered that if you put on of those bears close enough to another, he will in all cases put his arm rather suggestively upon the others tigh smiley - silly

We didn't go to the city today. 'We' hadn't the time, which means that I was dumped back here to look after Roosta's fur smiley - erm and Tine and Daniel went to admire the local train stations. Don't ask, I didn't quite catch that myself. But tomorrow me and Tine and her friend, Stine, is hopefully going to the city. Unless Tine and Stine will dump me for the sake of the local bus stops smiley - bigeyes.

I gotta go now - Tine is currently babysitting for a rabbit. Er, rabitsitting - her friend Runa is on a festival and we gotta look after little Balder (that's the rabbit). I have owned dwarf rabbits myself, but Balder is so tiny he can be confused with satchel fluff ( resembles one, too) Well, he also demands to have his fur brushed, so what can you do? Sometimes I wonder if we are their owners or Vice Versa smiley - erm

*sighs and stretches out* Ahh! That's nice, I'm back home. I never realised that I could use the school computers to post on h2g2! Our school computers are very selective about what sites it lets us look at. It wouldn't let me show my friends my website, it's quite embarassing. It told me that: ACESS DENIED. The content on this website is unsuitable for viewing. You've seen my site, there's no adult content is there smiley - flustered?

My dreams aren't as cool as that. They are just weird smiley - weird Why exactly is he wearing a purple tie with kittens on it? That's the only thing I can't understand... because you can dance to Bach. I've tried and prooved it to be so smiley - silly

Should I ask how your sister discovered that Beanie Babies do that smiley - erm? How very odd. I'm about to put your theory into practice, let me just go and get some of them. Here we go, Valantine meet Slippery. smiley - yikes Oh my! How rude! *slaps them both*

After that little indecency I think we had better talk of somthing more sensible. I'm going to France in 10 and a half hours! I don't want you to get the impression that I am undertravelled and get excited at the smallest thing *ant crawls across the floor* Aahhgg! An ant! OMG an ant! How exciting! Wow, an ant! An ant woah! This is blowing my mind, an ant! Wow! Cool, an ant! Wow! An ant!

Anyway. I found out that we're sharing a coach with my History teacher smiley - yuk Yes, the man who plays with beanies and throws books at my head. I hope I can keep from strangling his thick tanned neck. We also got stuck with our head of year. A bitter old hag who takes pleasure in horribly maiming and distroying young people. I'm dreading the trip there and back. I've just realised what we're going there to see smiley - doh Graves. Graves.*gets all excited* I should be right at home then smiley - vampire!

I'm going to go and sleep.smiley - cross If I don't get 9 hours sleep and a juice box I get cranky I will speak to you on thursday, as I shall probably be too tired to log on.

"As Nate shrugs on her backpack, she casts a final glance at the site h2g2, which has held and loved her for the past months. She turns her head towards Tilly, the girl who has helped her come to terms with her Hannibal Lecter obsession. Well, as I realize you've allready left me smiley - cry you will only read my good-lucks when you come back. Good luck! Strangle a teacher for me and have fun looking at your French graveyards! smiley - vampire And if you should bump into a certain FRENCH vampire, say, Lestat, tell him that Tilly sends her love and thinks he's a terrific dancer smiley - silly.

*Crawls into a dark corner with her trumpet* "...Oh, hooow can you leave me?/You're aaaall that I knooow/Whaaat shall I dooo now?/Wheeere will I gooo?..." *Sniff* smiley - wah Okay, get a grip now... Oh! Tic tacs! I love tic tacs smiley - biggrin! Especially the green, I love the taste of them... Tic tacs! Tic tacs! There aren't words for my like of tic tacs... Maybe I should write a song to honour them? Let's see, Do re mi...smiley - musicalnote

Seriously, here's till you come back! Three cheers for Nate!

Well I'm back. The peace was nice while it lasted I guess? I've got an awful lot to tell you. I laughed, I cried, I bought vast amounts of tic tacs.. smiley - choc

smiley - yawn Considering it was 3 in the morning I managed to get up ok. I remembered my passport (thankgod) and the weather was awful. As soon as I got on the bus I realised that this was going to be the worst school trip ever smiley - groan The seats had so little room in front of them my feet didn't touch the floor but remained tucked under my chin for the entire journey. Our coach driver was a pain in the *ahem* bottom and everyone in my class was so disrespectful to memory of those brave soldiers I was embarrassed to be seen with them.

At the battle fields a few people in my group were messing about, shouting, swearing and running about. I told them to be quiet but they ignored me and carried on. The people in the museum were looking at us with the utmost loathing and hatred, I felt like I'd betrayed my family. I lashed out at the loudest person and went off and cried in the toilets smiley - cry

You have to understand that my Great Grandad, like so many others, fought in the first war, my Grandad fought in the second war and if world war three were to break out, god forbid, my Dad would willingly go and fight. It means a lot to my other Grandparents too because they were forcebly taken by the Natzis to Germany, to work on a farm and doing other things. My Grandma couldn't have been much older than us when she was taken away from her Mum, Dad and siblings to go live in a place she had never seen before.

You can't believe how guilty I felt.smiley - blue Can you imagine feeling so ashamed that you wouldn't even walk with your best friends because they embarrassed you? It was very emotional for me and ended up becoming bad tempered and stroppy. It was awful!

My Great Grandad (Moses Lilly, funny name huh?) was in the trenches and had an arm blown off. Lucky guy. But when he came back he still rode his motor bike about smiley - biggrin! He died sometime after the war. It still hurts to think about it, so I'm gonna talk about somthing more cheerful...

To make me feel better about it, Vickie told the story of her Great Grandad. Apparantly his little troup got lost somewhere, and spent several days searching about looking for the war. They managed to get completely lost and by the time they invested in a good map and found their way there, the battle was over smiley - laugh

There were also large amounts of sheep there.smiley - sheep They were being used as a cheap and efficient way to cut the grass! As there may still be unexploded bombs and mines around the trenches they use the sheep to keep the weeds down rather than go and mow the lawn themselves.smiley - silly Somebody asked what would happen if a sheep set off a mine to which the answer was: 'Well, I guess that means we're having Roast Lamb for dinner.' I piped up 'So they're kamikaze sheep then?'

Sorry but I didn't see Lestat. I asked a few people if they drank blood and knew a girl called Tilly but not many did. I'm going to e-mail you some of the better photos of The Somme trenches as soon as I go upstairs. And possibly one of my beanie lovin teacher, depends on if the computer will scan in his face. It may object to doing so smiley - devil

We got to go to a hypermarket on the way back. I ended up buying two chocolate frogs, four packets of orange + green tic tacs, a tin of sweets (toothbrushes and teeth) and a box of chocolates for my Mum and Dad.

smiley - wow Guess what was on last night!!! A fantastic documentary called: "Anthony Hopkins; A Taste For Hannibal." I wasn't back in time to watch it but I left a few post it notes so my Dad would remember (Ok, 43.) to tape it smiley - winkeye I shall go and watch it now! I'm positively bursting with anticipation!!!
