This is my plea for sympathy That's the problem with living with a load of blokes, no flippin' sympathy whatsoever!
I spent the whole Bank Holiday weekend in bed, ill .. oh, and this included the Friday that I'd booked off as holiday so I could have a reeeally long weekend
I'm on the mend now, but still off me food
Thus ends my sympathy
Oh, and why can't they invent staplers that really work properly.
I destroyed one the other day by dropping it... inner stapler-related rage venting itself?

Walking is good for you....
Posted May 12, 2003
Saturday - did Waendel Walk - which is 25k (18miles). There's pubs on the route so if you see it as a really long pub crawl it helps moral! A friend did this last year and raised money for charity, she wanted to do it again this year but her parents dropped out, so I said I'd go with her, though she wasn't raising money this year, so we were doing it just for 'fun' Though did pull a US Army Captain (YEAH BABY!) so it wasn't all bad!
Sunday - did Race for Life - 5k (3 miles). Jogged at the beginning, walked most of it but ran at the end! Twas really cool cuz other people were walking at that point so I got lots of cheers!
Got lots of medals now!
So, I'm feeling pretty proud of myself at the moment! And also flippin knackered.. still, best get on with some wor..

I forgot to mention! Something exciting happened last weekend! (Well, a break from the norm anyhoo)
Here in Milky Keynes, we have a 'Collectormania' event, they tried it out once and it was so successful we've just had the third. Mainly Sci-Fi / Fantasy based, as well as an awful lot of memorabilia etc. for sale, there's lots of stars of movies and serieseses for autograph signings.
ANYway! I saw a little fella all on his own cuz there was nobody queueing for his autograph, and although I wasn't going to pay out for one, I fell sorry for him and walked down to meet Warwick Davies! (The little guy out of Willow) We had a little chat and he was very nice! He's been in other things too but Willow is my fave, and he wrote "Love & Magic" on his photo, which was really nice!
Then wandered round a bit more and saw Alan Ruck on his own.. he's the tall guy (Cameron) out of Ferris Bueller's day off, so went to see him too! Bless 'im, he looks very young, and although he's a lot older now, he'll always be Cameron to me! He's also been in Speed, Twister, Star Trek and some others, but I think Ferris Bueller was his best movie!
I also saw... (started writing all of them down but easier just to give the website!) http://www.showmastersonline.com/collectormania.html ...most of them!
Was a nice change.. and I got to meet Willow!!

VEGAS BABY YEAH!!!
Posted May 8, 2003
Flights to Vegas are booked!!!
Now I've just got to find somewhere to stay while I'm over there...!
Tired, have run out of me Worts, and I've just noticed my computer has sort of a smiley face on the top made out of the microphone hole - can't see any use for the smile and eye dimples, I think they put them there just to make it look like a smiley face
Race for Life is on Sunday - I hope to walk half and run half, haven't been training enough to run all the way, that'll be a goal for next year.
Where's the sun gone? Eh? EH?
Live long on pizza

I've had two beers so I feel inclined to write a journal entry
Daddy has offered to loan me the money for flights to Vegas which means I can book them now! Yay!
Haven't been able to train much for the Race for Life cuz working - it's averaging about once a week! I'll still be doing it, perhaps half walk half run.
Got spots from overdosing on after lent
Am knackered so am going to bed!
And that's it! Take care all
