Windy blow!

Got to work about 8.20 after an hours bus ride, stepped off the bus and got blown half way down the street.... after a while I managed to regain my balance and make my way to the shop to stock up on coffee and crisps for the tired day ahead. Managed to make it reasonably safely to my office, dodging some small children tumbling across my path. Ventured out later for a full English brekkie take-away.. the winds tried to take my coffee, but my caffeine need was greater and I triumphed! (Quite an achievement when you're carrying a fragile polystyrene box with both hands while trying to swipe a card through a box placed at waist height with the card hung on a chain around your neck.)
No squirrels about really, I've seen a couple venture out but their earmuffs keep being blown off. Feeling very full up now, time for a coffee and a couple of bourbons....mmmmmmmm.
