That is just un-necessary pressure really is'nt it? You just take care not to do yourself a mischief, no job is worth risking health for you know.

well she's hoping to do further study but for now she's applying for Lab jobs to get some experience.she is busy with her friends that are back at the uni ...some of them took a year out so are back for a final year.

oh right, she obviously enjoyed the stint in the lake district then. All adds to the cv does'nt it.

yeah it's catch 22 they need experience to do things but where do they get it? so she has decided the best thing is to work and then study part time for her masters degree.A Lab job , even at the bottom, will give her experience. She has her life mapped out..or at least her career.

I know, thats where old fashioned apprenticeships were great, when I did my motor engineering I had combination of 5 years work and study so at the end you had both the qualification and some experience. They should bring them back in my view. best way to learn all round i reckon.

Yep, trouble is also today they do fitters course, whereas mine was engineering, difference between repairing an item or just replacing one.
Don't worry, not gonna do the diesel fitters joke!!

Err if what my brother says is true, hyper-active apparently. He used to say I never knew when to call it quits, especially if i worked a double shift non-stop or climbed a series of mountains within a set time.
My average walking speed, normal walking speed was just over 5mph, with a 65litre back pack, loaded, it was the same!
Now feels like i go backwards all the time!!

well we all slow down when we are older..i expect you would have slowed down anyway even without the illness. Your mind is active though and that is what counts
