Yup seems if it's free and nasty I get it just now!! Thankfully the cough has virually gone now, just a sore throat which the Difflam stuff is working on.

Voice of experience, it's what happened when I got moved here on medical grounds, nothing happened for ages then bang, all hell broke loose for about a month to 6 weeks!! Nightmare!Never saw a flat get painted/decorated and furnished so fast, bearing in mind I moved from a mobile home so had no furniture as such!!

well I've started packing as it feels like I'm achieving something then. Just packing bits and pieces that are not needed everyday. It's a start.

You'll start finding stuff again you thought you'd either lost or chucked out yonks ago!! When I moved i found paperwork in a box going back to 1979!! Why it was kept I have no idea.
Trouble is now the flat looks like I've been here 20 years rather than 2,ornaments and furniture that I did'nt have especially moving from a mobile home anyway.

I got rid of loads of stuff because i moved to this tiny house...now i'll probably have to find more to fill it,if I get a bigger place

Well the irony of my last 2 moves was i moved out of a 3 bedroomed flat, which was the whole top floor of a manor house, into a 2 bed mobile home and now a 1 bed flat. think they call it downsizing don't they!

Once it happens tho, you'll feel a lot better in yourself though, yes it's stress and hassle right now but hopefully it'll all be worth it in the end, you have plenty help and support i'm sure.

afraid not St..it's me and Nessie and thats it..my family never offer to help.One or two friends will come over i expect ..but I am used to managing on my own.

Thats a bummer, I take it you're going to have to hire the use of van/driver then to move furniture and stuff? Or will you just have a normal removals firm do the job?

I was lucky, Brothers turned up we had 3 landrovers and 2 trailers available to move me and collect furniture. I have access to a trailer and you know the car I have, shout if there's anything I can do ok?

thanks i will. usually hire a removals firm . i found one at the last move who were really good so will try and get them again.
