Let's all light a candle for pheloxi on Friday at noon UK time (1pm European time).
We did it for Hypatia's sister over in the USA, and I think it helped her and the family to know that so many people across the globe were with her, her sister, and her family during those very difficult hours.

Dear Harrie,
I am greatly saddended to about Pheloxi's death and I will greatly miss him.
He always was ready to cheer people up when they were down and helped me a great deal.
My condolences go out to you and your family and you will be in my thoughts.

Oh my so very dewr Pheloxi,
I cannot believe it. I am so terribly sorry. but I am so glad that we have chatted very recently.
You were so good to me when I first joined in 2001. When I organised a birthday party for my 75th birthday and then forgot to attend , you so kindly organised another birthday party a week later on a Saturday. You managed to get 250 friends from all over the world to my party, and it was you, my dear sweet departed friend who did it.
You are such a part of hootoo you are going to be incredibly missed. We all loved you although I never had the pleasure of meeting you. but you were always there, for me, with a smile and a friendly word.
Oh my dear friend. I salute your courage. I know that you have had a very hard time.
I know that you are at peace now, but you are so young.
Thank you for the firendship which you gave me these last eight years.

I didn't know him well, but we had chatted a few times, and he seemed to be a very good kind of person, and I really don't know what else to write, except that I'm sorry.

I love the idea of lighting a candle, and I shall do so, albeit at work.
Pheloxi will be sadly missed; he was one of the truly genuine, cheerful and fulsome characters here on hootoo and it is a sorrier site in his absence.
