Your post said 13 hours ago that you replied, that was a late night one, couldnt you sleep.
I love both but must admit that my fav is Indian also, in fact me and the missus might have one tonight, i have just told her and she says shes not hungry at the moment....TONIGHT woman, TONIGHT, tsk.
Weekend, gardening mainly, well getting the pond ready for the spring, cleaning it out and all that, oh what fun.
Also helping a couple of the neighbours put up their fence panels that blew down.
Did you get any wind damage, and i dont mean the curry

Muddling Through Posted Jan 20, 2007
It was about midnight when I posted. I have always had a weird relationship with sleep and I am a definate owl (where hubby is a lark!). Also, I didn't want to sleep too early as I am working until 10pm tonight. My take-away plans have been scrapped , I think it might have had something to do with me saying "no alcohol in the office" but he claims its all due to a mate going round for the evening . I did get a dinner of veggie pie and roast potatoes before I came to work to make up for it and veggie samosa's in my pack up for later!
Our fence is propped up with extra bits of wood right now, 3 of our posts have snapped at ground level. We were going to go out and get some new ones this morning but we had to stay in and wait for a bloke to come round and replace a roof tile that came loose (and charge us £50 for the 2 minutes he was up there)! So tomorrow morning we need to sort the posts out.

Marmite Posted Jan 23, 2007
I tend to go to bed around 12ish but wake up at 3ish and read my book until it drops on the floor, thus losing its place and me never remembering where i was
Couldnt hubby go up on the roof and fix it, it would have saved you some dosh that you could have put towards a take-away
Any Advice?!
Muddling Through Posted Jan 24, 2007
Hubby could have fixed the roof but we were missing one vital component... a ladder! No one in the street has one long enough to reach the roof.
Did you have your take away at the weekend?
Sleep is over-rated anyway!

Marmite Posted Feb 5, 2007
, there are other threads that you can go on on here when i am not around, as i have just looked at your space and you only seem to chat to me
Any Advice?!
Muddling Through Posted Feb 5, 2007
I do read other threads and have added comments in the past but I always seem to put something controversial (withough meaning to) and get jumped on and end up feeling really bad about it all so I keep my opinions to myself a lot more these days
I am just happy to

I worry too much about upsetting people daft, I know! I never used to.. still working on getting the old me back - I am still very opinionated and often shout at comments made - especially on Have Your Say!
How did your gardening go the other week? Did you sort your pond out? Do you have
Any Advice?!
Marmite Posted Feb 7, 2007
Give it to em girl
The garden is looking good, the pond is sorted apart from the waterfall that is being a little bugger, i need to slow the water flow rate out as its gushing down the waterfall like Niagra, not quite the sedate soothing sound i was looking for

Muddling Through Posted Feb 13, 2007
Now it’s my turn to disappear for a while! I have been going through a bit of a tough time but I went to see my old counsellor yesterday and feel that I am back on track for now
Hope you manage to calm down Niagra... need a wee just thinking about it!
I am working late again tonight and it is very boring as I only have routine jobs to do .
Had to get around to setting up the video again (it went in for repair) to record Life On Mars … trust me to be working for the first episode of the new series! All the best programs are on when I am not at home and all the rubbish is on when I am home! Maybe I should consider this new fangled 'plus' thing on digital TV but the service I have doesn’t even work right so I am loathed to pay them any more money!!!!
Any Advice?!
Marmite Posted Feb 14, 2007
ah there you are
Yea, its a trickle now thats sounds calming
Sky +, trust me its brilliant, we have a video recorder and have the things i wanted to record i couldnt be bothered, set the time, set the timer, set bloody everything and then realise you have recorded the wrong channel and got Songs of Praise or something.
With the sky+ you can record two things at once and believe me its magic
Any Advice?!
Muddling Through Posted Feb 14, 2007
We don't have Sky - we have cable! Just been taken over by Virgin and it costs an extra £15 a month for the + thing on the full package. Last night was the first time I wanted to record anything for months so it doesn't really seem worth it! (Ususally I find all the programs are repeated so often the video is not needed) But... the video was not fixed and keeps switching between LP and SP and is unwatchable... fortunately Virgin Media do provide a free + service on some channels/Programs and Life on Mars is one of those - Yay! Planning to watch it when I get home tonight

Marmite Posted Feb 19, 2007
We used to have cable but they didnt change to digital in this area, so the channels were the basic ones and do what no sport, sod that, so we changed to sky
Our phone line was also cable but cause of the non digital bit we couldnt get broadband either so thats why we changed back to BT recently.
Hows you doing anyroad

Hey there! I have been working an early shift at the same time as hubby so got to see lots of him but don't get the time for being on line.
Things are going here, how are things with you?
I have a busy week this week... finally getting the third wardrobe door we bought (at the same time as the rest of the wardrobe) in Sept - it's been a long wait . The original was broken it two when it was delivered. It is going to be heaven to be able to keep the out of my clothes!
So there will be furniture building and when not doing that we will be treasure hunting on hubbys allotment. The woman on the plot next to his dug up some bones. As the local paper says;
"the bones are probably from the grave of a rich warlord from the ancient kingdom of Mercia, who was buried alongside a priceless bowl. It would once have been used for washing people's feet, and was a symbol of extreme wealth in Anglo-Saxon times."
They have a dig going on and we are going to see if we can get involved. It's all quite exciting! They think the whole place may be a burial ground.

Haven't had a chance to go digging around yet as I think you have sent us your rain!
Also I am trying to fight off a heavy cold that hubby has been trying to share with me for the last week... I ache all over and am going to have a VERY early night tonight

Sorry, but i have been so busy that i havent had time to get on here to let you know about my dad.
Right, he fell ill about beginning of March and went into hospital for a while, 3 weeks in all i think, so when he came out he was very delicate and unsteady for a while, during this time he slipped in the bath and broke his left wrist and broke his right elbow plus breaking a couple of ribs, so he is plastered up both sides the dopey sod.
He cant really do much at the moment except moan at me to revise for my GCSE's, then moan at the footie and the cricket and anything else that credits a moan.
It shouldnt be too long until he gets back on here.
