Introduction to Researcher 169725 (Chigley)
Chigley is the online nickname of real life guide researcher and all round human being Jon Lean, who chose the moniker due to an unhealthy obsession with early '70s kids TV programs.Jon was born on 28th April 1973 in Plymouth and spent the first 18 years of his life in Saltash, Cornwall. After failing to set the world on fire with his A-level results, he moved to Bristol to attend the University of the West of England where he first completed an HND in Computing before eventually graduating with a degree in Computing for Real Time Systems.
Since then he has written simulation software for Nuclear Electric and is currently working for a company that authors banking systems in Yate, Bristol.
He continues to live and work in Yate with his two cats and enjoys listening to odd music, reading subversive fiction, watching strange films, socialising with interesting people and using clever adjectives.
He also tries to play badminton, tries to play the guitar and, despite years of practice, only occasionally manages a 10 pin bowling score above 150.
He's currently on the lookout for a future Mrs Chigley (or Chiglette) and looks something like this although he's been told recently that this is cheating as "everyone looks good in sunglasses!".

(For the record his cats used to look like this but they're quite a lot bigger now!)
