It'd be a bit disingenuous, having ignored the World Cup when England were rubbish, to start crowing now.
Well, Cock-a-doodle-doo.
I know an Aussie who's promised to buy the beer for the rest of the year if England won. He's not answering his phone at the moment, oddly enough.
Still, could be worse than being 'Strilian. Imagine coming from a country that could only do one thing: just one thing stopping the rest of the world pointing out that your country is the most boring and pointless place on earth. Then you go and lose at that one redeeming thing. To the French.
And now Scottish Rugby hovers on the brink of major honours too. Kenny Logan really could go all the way in Strictly Come Dancing

I am in that corner of some foreign field.
Fortunately enough surrounded mainly by Aussies and with most exquisite luck one bird from the land of the long glum face.
I foresee one of those "Oh we don't follow the rugby union, have you read the code of conduct on harrassment?" days.

What choice do you have: the other three are your most despised nations trifecta.

Rugby
Denmark never excelled in rugby - therefore rugby is a town in ... the fields.
(Sorry it is an injoke I just made up. Not very funny really. In Danish rug = rye and by = town)
*Hopes noone Danish enters this thread*

Rugby is a town though, tartaronne. It's about an hour away from where I live.
I just realised I'm stewarding a uni event tomorrow evening so I won't be able to watch - I'll have to get text updates, I think.

Well, even though it's never quite satisfying as widely-strewn kangaroo entrails, I think that little portion of squished frog was quite satisfying, n'est ce pas?
Onwards and upwards. Might as well support us now, guys. I mean, nobody likes a South African...

Ahh, poor Chabbers. Boo hoo.
I'll think about it. Interesting Final Argies v England though - if it happens...

How long before the tabloids start talking shite about the Falklands?

The Stun won't let us down on Monday.
If the Argies win today, they (the Stun editors) will hopefully starve to death between an "up yours, Delors" type of thing about beating the French, and a Falklands War type scenario...

Either way, they must be using up a ton of moisturiser rubbing their hands together.

I guess I'll have to support the English boys now. I think the Boks might just have the edge though.
