How times move on. The BBC have thoughtfully provided a live webcam view of the Baghdad skyline. The link, should you care to make use of it is off of the main BBC World News page - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/

I've had the video stream running for most of the day, and in that time pretty much nothing has happened, except for the time around 6pm GMT when it all kicked off big time.

I guess the old adage is true, "War is hours of boredom punctuated with moments of sheer terror."
