the radio series' are good aren't they?

That was my introduction - then the books, then the TV.

I think the radio is best because of the brilliant stereo effects for the time.

The books also let you build your own pictures of the scenes and characters.

TV was my first medium, back in 2001 I think it was. Very late night on BBC2 just after DNA died Despite never investigating it in any other medium the storyline stuck with me well and I started to see references to it in many places but it was only earlier this year, about March time, that I thought "oh yes, I should probably by the book". I think it was just after playing the game on the BBC website (the only reason I actually joined H2G2, then I found out what it was and joined in the fun).

Still, the order for me was: TV, Tertiary Phase radio, book 1, Quandary&Quintissential Phase, film, book 2-5, Primary Phase, currently half way through the Secondary Phase.

The book is my favourite version, so much more depth to everything

The radio series has alot of stuff that got left out in the books. (books are still the best though )

For instance, did you know it was AURTHUR'S upper left arm that was bruised in the Sperm Whale incident?
