Yeah not so bad, well not really existant at the moment. Semester has been over for over a month but I stayed in Glasgow to work, and working I am. Just finished a straight 9 day set of work, today off and then back on for the weekend before moving flats on Monday.

Infinite Crisis was a crossover for the entire DC universe characters. Being fairly new to comics and only knowing a superficial amount of heros and villains I was sooo confused. Kinda cool to see splash pages of over 50 superheroes but confusing at the same time.

Oh I should have thought of that becaus emy brother's girlfriend is at home now too. Where are you working?

I don't really know much at all about the DC characters besides what I've seen in films and very occasionally on tv shows. Marvel is more my thing, although I don't like the bits with aliens and stuff like that, it just seems a little too much. I just watched the trailer for Spider-man 3 and it's amazing! It's not coming out until next may though.smiley - wah

I'm working in Nando's, the chicken restaurant - the second Nando's to be opened in Scotland as a matter of fact. It's quite good really, considering it is work it can be quite a laugh. You on the island or on the homeland at the minute?

Oh really, I thought it was gonna be a late Summer blockbuster. I'm hoping Topher Grace plays Venom, last time I looked it was rumoured/tbc. Not much of a Spidey fan but Venom always struck me as a cool villain as he looked a lot like Spiderman and I like duality in superheroes, which is why my favourite is Batman probably. See, although I've only been reading comics since around November I've always preferred DC characters anyway, and same with the comics. Although I bought my first Marvel comic last month, Moon Knight. It's a new series rebooting an old C list hero, quite, dare I say it, emotional at times to see this latter-day hero with nothing but nostalgia. Very interesting artwork too, a kind of faux-computer graphic effect.

Re-read the first Spiderman issue a little while ago, odd to see what comics were like back in the day.

I don't think I've heard of Nando's. I'm on the mainland until next week when I go home for the summer where I shall stay, save for a 10 day period in India on a trip with some people from school. If there is a Nando's here I probably wouldn't have heard of it becuase almost my entire school go to the new subway now. With any luck the McDonald's will be out of business by the end of the year.smiley - evilgrin

I think he's confirmed now because he's in the trailer.

I think Spider-man's always been my favourite because he's umpopular rahter than some of the others who are liked and only have to deal with super villains, not the public at large. Although it may be that the Spider-man tv series was probably the only series I watched. Batman I rather liked though and Begins is a good film I think. Venom and the other symbiotes are some of my favourites too because they bring so much to the story about dual personalities and Freudian principles. smiley - winkeye (you can tell I do english can't you?)

I think I saw some graphics that were like that in the Astonishing Spider-man series when the Toxin story was being done. Quite good but a little weird. I think I prefer just normal artwork, maybe a little bit fancy but not too much, as long as it's a good storyline. And I don't like Spidey with really small eyes either. Just a little thing that always gets me.smiley - erm
