hey, uh, does anybody know if it's possible to get free scans of old comic books? like, say, the first bat-man comic ever or something?

Nah, I'm just the ignorant fool in the school media center trying to avoid looking at my notebook of bio info. I'll review that tonight I swear!

I have been looking for scan ins of comic books to no avail, certainly I think we should all keep a look out and post one as soon as we find it.

Gandark enters the Library, and picks out several books with titles like, "How to Block Forced Telepathy, Illusions and 101 Other Mental Deceptions."
Turning quickly to Chapter Eight on "Illusions," he says, "There, I found it."
"Illusions are like waking dreams. So, the way to block them is the same as was discussed in Chapter Two on Dreams - disbelief. Quite simply, disbelieving in something that is not real to begin with can usually make it go away. However, with illusions, this can only work if the strength of your mental projection of disbelief (see Chapter One on Mental Projections) is stronger than the mental projection of the person or persons projecting the illusion - and trained illusion-makers can often have the mental projection strength of a dozen people or more..."

"... so it is often useful to distract them and break their concentration. However, be warned that such efforts can often break your concentration as well - canceling yourself out."
Gandark decides to borrow that book and opens another entitled "Every Mind a Fortress - keeping secrets secret."
After reading that one for a bit he pushes it aside in disgust. "The trouble is seperating the garbage from the good advice..."

The Geat walks over to where Gandark is reading and says, "Imeersing yourself in the world of dreams, laddie?"

[Gandark] Hi, uh no, actually I'm trying to figure out ways of protecting the heroes of the Leauge from my enemy the Illusionist. He has mind powers.

*the doors fly open and Spectre strides in. he hastens over to the section about the League itself, more specifically about it's history. after searching for a few minutes through various books he seems to find something that interests him.
after staring at the page for a few seconds he replaces the book, then goes off further into the library and begins searching the shelves seemingly at random.
when he is a long way off he eventually stops and pulls down a rather old looking book, so old in fact that the writing on the cover is barely readable, and leafs through it's pages.*
hmmm... 30 years...or is it 40?...
*turns the page*
so...
*replaces the book and heads for the door*

[Gandark] yes, well you see, the trouble with the Illusionist is ... I don't remember. I must have known him once, but where and when and how escapes me. As it does everybody else. I'm not even sure he knows himself. His mind powers seem to grant him total anonymity. How can we fight an enemy we can't even remember?
