Yes it's good to meet you too. I'm popping by as one of the assistant community editors or <./>ACEs</.> here. We greet recent arrivals like yourself & leave you links to help you settle in. First you should read the 'Welcome page'@ A53146 . Then you'll be able to decorate or personalize your space/page considerably. Look@'spicing up your page'( A690518 ) for explanations of your options. Or if you need any help, consult the Personal Space Workshop@ A1123354 .
Like most large communities we have numerous Clubs & Societies. You'll find those listed by category@ A660340 & that includes regional researchers' groups. Something one of the members has maintained for just over a year now, is a photo gallery. That's actually on another site - http://public.fotki.com/azahar/h2g2_friends . And the corresponding conversational thread here is@ F119314?thread=421977&latest=1 . New additions to the gallery are announced there, etc. Then like most communities we also have a newspaper <./>thepost</.>. That comes out every Thurs. evening British time or that same afternoon north american time.
Another ACE, my colleague Feisor has compiled a comprehensive list of Hints & Links@ A719840 . Take your time going over that & having a look around...there's alot to see! I think you'll find this a friendly & informative community to be apart of. If you've got any questions or anything feel free to leave me a message by using the 'Reply' button below. I'll try to help or I'll find someone who can help alright. Take care & bye for now!*waves*
