That's what I thought.

Well, I managed to survive today. I had to play piano but I was really tired. This happens a lot on Saturday nights - because I have to get up early on Sunday.

Went to bed at quarter to 11. First two hours: woke up every half hour.

1-3: Woke up every hour.

4-5: Didn't sleep.

5-7: Slept soundly. Did NOT want to get up. Got up anyway.

9:30: At church, rehearsing.
10:20: Started playing.
12:00: Went home.

It's been behaving for me all day. (Which is unusual.)

It's the subconscious brain at work.

When you "need" a good nights sleep - it don't happen

But! When you need to get up early etc, yours eyes say sod it!

Anyway, that was TWO Sundays in a row I had to get up early and play. Next week (hopefully) it's my sister's turn. She says she thinks she'll be able to do it.

One of the ladies at church heard that and joked, 'I'll bet she calls you with five minutes to go.'

Bro-in-law is still in hospital. Hopefully he'll be out sometime this week. They have to take the staples out first.

And tomorrow is a holiday. Memorial Day.

I hate tv programs and films!

Due to "now" many channels, of which are (internet subscription etc)
I can only "watch" series/films when they come out on dvd/blu ray

I say to PJ I've NOW got to live longer to see the next series of etc

I wrote a review awhile back: A88045220 That was awful! They're supposed to be in the South! And they're in Canada. It SHOWS.

I was particularly outraged by the 'pie':

A recurring gag in this series involves a diner that serves peach pie. I'd like to know whether no one in Ontario has ever eaten a peach pie? Seriously. In the first place, you do not make pie with peaches: you make cobbler. The failure to understand this is bad but forgiveable (barely). But the closeup of this alleged 'pie' crosses the line into international crime. Who told the Prop Department they could use canned peaches? No wonder the main character spit it out. I would, too. Just imagining the taste of what was on that plate made me gag. Can you not google a recipe, people? Y'all did the same thing with a pecan pie in Tru Blood once. I swan. . .
