How is Elektra ?

She's looking very perky today. All her colour is back. She's healing nicely. Apparently I'm an okay surgical assistant. And she's taking her pills.

I made the supper and she's watching it simmer until it's ready, so we're in business.

I'm NOT probing! I only hope that the "problem" is of a very minor issue..

As for you I don't ANY skills past you (if you follow me)

Aw, sweet of you! It's just a wen and it was kinda large (hence the widespread panic and making us go to the emergency room for a scan) and had to be drained and since I watched and listened and didn't pass out and it's on her back, I get to play doctor.

And I'm REALLY glad I switched my uni studies to languages when I did. I would not like to have done this for a living.

But that doctor is a wonder - we had such a great time talking to him. He's African American, from New Orleans, he's been everywhere, and he loves to meet new people.

I look at things this way! I have friends "from anywhere in the world" whether met or not, but each and everyone I respect with the same intentions etc as if "they" lived next door

SO! The health and safety of my friends are of the most importance to me

Because one day ? we might be able to meetand yah can't someone who is poorly

True, and much appreciated.

You know me I might put my foot in the mouth now and again

But I only speak the truthto who I am..

You and Elektra are my friends! I don't need to say anything else

Yep! And a little foot-in-mouth disease is no problem among friends.

My dad "never" did anything wrong, so never had to apologiseto anyone etc...

If I've done something wrong (not intentionally) I WILL apologise and will take any "penalty" from my actions

Yeah, I know people like that. I think they just panic if they think they made a mistake.

Fast flowing

Many years ago, myself and a mate were river fishing during the day and night - In the early hours of the following morning, we heard a rumbling type noise ??
The next "second" a tidal-wave came up the river and we had to scramble up the river bank with all our tackle or get flooded out

Within 10 min's, we were TRYING to fish WHERE we sat The river flow was that fast, we packed in

This afternoon PJ brought me a bottle of a 16yr old single malt whiskyfir dad's day

I'll be looking at it for monthsbefore opening it!

Wow! The tides make the rivers do that there? (We're inland, so it's a river system. So is Tavaron.)
