I love general elections!
There's more promises and pledges from the political parties, that "you" know can and will never actually fulfilled

I always "look to" the snake in the jungle book film "trust in me"
Yet! how the "electorate" buy all the hype!!! (thick in head or what)

Well, I certainly wouldn't believe it if the people in power yell that they can provide 'change'.

If they wanted 'change', why didn't they do it already?

There's a politician here who got a lot of support for standing up for the common people and being progressive.

At the same time he got elected, he had a stroke and now has brain damage. He's also become far more conservative. People are mad at him.

'I've become more conservative since I got brain damage,' he said recently.

'That explains it!' say his former supporters.

So - er, yeah. Politicians are disgusting as a species.

I might be 74 years in Aug' () "only in body not brain"

But"the people" put them in power = true!

But! The generations of "today" etc have less brain power thinking, because of the "crap" that's abundant via the internet

"WOW" That's got to be true because he/she (prominent figure) says so!

DNA human's/sheep = follow whoever is in front

To be fair, I think a lot of them are just tired. It takes a lot of work chasing down the truth. I should know - I do a lot of it, one way and another. Research, etc.

"according" to some tv reports here ? It looks like "many" voters are fed up of our politicians in general (the way they act etc) have lost all confidence in british politics and I reckon that loads will not bother going to vote

Well! Our major political parties have now published their "Manifesto's" for the general election

Promises and pledges etc etc etc
Alas! Written words don't mean a thing, legal or not! All can be broken

It's all down to the "general public" believers/gullible/loyalists to a party/don't knows --- Nowt new

I do knowthe well off will always benefit more than us poor

Well, there's that - and a lot of disgusting 'issue' behaviour I'm seeing right now on Twitter in real time.

There are some nasty people out there.

The "old saying" british stiff upper lip and fair playwent out of political fashion many years ago

now it's "points" scored for hitting below the belt!
This why "we" are sick to the teeth of our political lot

NO trust! in any of them...

get voted in! and at the end of the day - THEY all eat out of the same trough

This appears to be increasingly the case everywhere. It's hard for anybody to swim against THAT tide.

Not around tonight. I need to cook.

Long story short: it's been a hectic couple of days. Elektra had to go to the emergency room yesterday and it took us all day. Nothing life-threatening, but it's painful and tiresome and involves antibiotics and me playing doctor's assistant.

So everything takes longer. We got so tired yesterday - the doctor and nurses were all wonderful, we laughed our way through, but we hadn't had anything to eat. So we hit the soup and salad bar at the nearby restaurant and came home and crashed.

Then there was a funeral at church today. We attended virtually - my sister came over before because she couldn't find a piece of music, so she got it from me, and then they came by afterwards.

So off I go to cook. Have a video! I took this from the side porch.
