I've been fighting with the AI chatbot thingy they put on my computer.

I've been asking it about myself. It says I'm a brilliant writer.

It says nice things about Tavaron, too.

It's pretty much a suck-up, is that AI.

There is NO psychologist on the planet! Past or present, that could work ME out!

Any A.I. hasn't a snowballs chance in hell of sussing me out!!!

If I don't know me ?then no bloody artificial set up is defeated before it's switched on

A.I. Needs electrical power to exist

I need just foodand I'm off for some before "lights out"

I had to postpone the oral surgery - I got up feeling bad and it only got worse over the next two hours. The receptionist was very understanding when I told her I was afraid I had something catching.

I feel a bit better today, still 'under the weather' but not too bad. The dentist can wait - I have a new appointment for later this month, so no problem.

In the meantime, there was an earthquake in Philadelphia, New York City, and New Jersey this morning. 4.8, not too bad.

Elektra called her brother. He said he was in the shower and thought the washing machine in the laundry room was vibrating. But they were okay.

No1 - get bloody well soon ok!
No2 - cancelled appointments can be remade
No3 - I saw that on our news prog' - as always, I'm glad no fatalities etc.
No4 - What's he doing out there ? get him to move to your "heaven area"

They live in Jersey because they grew up north of Philadelphia and the part of New Jersey near Philadelphia has nice neighbourhoods with affordable houses. Also, their kids live near there now and they all work in and around Philadelphia.

Also, I know for a fact that his wife is afraid of heights. This is not a place for people who are that afraid of heights. When we lived in Philadelphia, we had a three-storey house. She looked out the top-floor window and almost fainted.

Alas! I'm going to try and beat Moriarty

I'm not feeling too bad, but my back is acting up, so I'm moving slowly.

At least the sun is out. It won't be tomorrow, though - solar eclipse occuring right overhead.

So far, we've had an earthquake (Friday), an eclipse is coming tomorrow, and if the world doesn't end then there will be a double plague of locusts in the Midwest this summer.

So of course the loonies think it's the end of the world.

Nope. Just when it approach near-totality (we only got 98%), a huge cloudbank covered Hooverville. It looked like the dark before a thunderstorm.

It got cold all of a sudden, and the birds fussed. The people just ignored it all.
