After the "passing" of my bro in law last month and my best mate this month, plus me comp' hard drive
Good news comes

My niece is heading for America 2nd JuneShe's joining a cruise ship again!
This time, instead of "doing" the Mexican 7/10 day cruise, she's been signed on for a larger ship and will be doing an Alaska "run" followed by a South Pacific run via Australia and Vanuatu (I think ?)

Sounds like a wonderful trip1 I had a work friend who did the Alaska cruise. The photos were amazing! (You're on a boat and really close to a glacier, etc.)

Alaska, I said it's "safer" than Mexico
She said about swimmingI replied! There's Orca/killer whales up there

But the one that's mad at boats is in the Atlantic, I think.

On another side I'm SOO proud of her.
After each cruise, the kids and parents were given a questionnaire ? about the cruise and crew etc.
My niece came tops by most of the kids and parents!
On the way she "looked" after the kids, she had them do drawings and other stuff and not just watch over them.
I told her last year
"they'll" make her captain

That's wonderful! Congratulations to her!

Elektra and I were in the grocery. I wanted some Raisinets - we buy them in bulk because I can eat them, they're gluten free, and they're raisins and chocolate, not bad for you. But they put them all up on the top shelf. Even SHE couldn't reach them, let alone me.

No workers in the store, anywhere. And this was Walmart. I went to check out, she went to customer service. They said they'd send somebody. Nobody came.

A tall customer helped her out.

"Raisinets" We have something similar ? trade name etc I think ?

When something is on a shelf higher than I can reachI "wait" until I see someone taller than me
and usually also ask ? do you need oxygen up there ?

A Yorkshireman, to celebrate his 75th birthday! Decided to run 75 marathons in 75 days WOW! He's done it!

A 75-year-old man says he has completed 75 marathons in 75 consecutive days.

Ray Matthews from Rotherham finished the challenge this week after starting out on 2 July.

He has now raised more than £13,000 for a local school, which caters out for a range of special educational needs and disabilities.

That's amazing!
