Woke this morning to heavy snowfall over nightmy friend was supposed to go to the next town for his corona jab today, but I reckon that was cancelled ?
Mine is Thursday and this eveningit was rainingand mild weather expected for a few days "phew"

Oh, I'm glad! I know y'all don't deal too well with snow.

Neither does New York City. We're laughing at them over here. They had about a foot, and it stopped them cold. I was watching one of those kids that has a Youtube channel walking around in the snow with his Go-Pro camera. They acted like it was a big deal. And they banned all vehicles from the roads except for emergency vehicles. Stephen Colbert had to sleep in his office over the theatre.

It's going to be worse next weekend. I'm hoping it will get better after that. Enough is enough!

I just talked to a lady from the church, she's in her 80s. She got her first shot. Said the second one was booked for 2 March.

We had a nice, sunny day today. Very rare. Sun looked so cool on all that snow. We got the shopping done, so now we won't worry if another big snowstorm comes this weekend.

My sister and her husband were over yesterday. They were remembering when they always used chains on their tires on the back roads in winter.

When I was in the chemical job, my boss went "up the hill" (angry )
The guy on the day shift phoned in "I can't get because of the snow" He lived about half mile away
I lived in the next town 4 mile approx' and got therefor my afternoon shift.

People who live here learn to deal with snow. It's a rural area. It's mountainous. And it snows a LOT.

Age brings experience (sometimes)

BUT! Alas! It also brings I wish I was "X" years younger

As for me I'd just do the same thing I've done all my life, so age means nowt!

Had my 1st corona jab this morning - Che Sera Sera...
better safe than sorry eh!
I now await info from my doc's surgery ? on timetable for 2nd jab

Mine was the Pfizer-BioNTech one and from the early tests etc ? they said a 2nd dose should be after 3 weeks.
But Gov'/Scientists etc said that it was better ? to cover more of the population with 1st dose and give 2nd dose after 12 weeks, as the 1st dose DOES give a good amount of immunity ?
