Last Summer, a friend mentioned "The 12th Planet," a book about a presumed 10th planet with a comet-like orbit that completes one circuit in 3,600 Earth years. I plan to have squirrels hitch a ride with them the last time they swung by [roughly 200 B.C.]. They will never be the same again, nor will we .

That's the theme of my NaJoWhatever. I just thought squirrels would look sop cute in space suits. Plus, Skrat seemed to be having a good time in that last "ice Age" movie.

They make excellent spies, too. No one would notice their spying, as devious squirrel behavior is too normal to be noticed.

The "Chariots of the Gods" and "12th Planet" books were about Sumerian antiquities, so the type of squirrel involved would have been native to the Middle east.

They might have mutated on their new host planet, though/

We have a 'cute red squirrel' in our yard. He's ferocious, and chases the grey squirrels for long distances. The grey squirrels are terrified of him. We call him Padraig.

my work here is done I get William quite worried sometimes... when randomly at home, I'll 'go off' on an epic nighthooveristic type spluge of random speech just.... sort of ... 2legs-ish I got him tonight with a five minute version of the 'moon mist'
