I don't know where they went! THE WEBSITE LIED. Where do you stay by the way, so we can check out the state of your curtains?
i'll ask Gill about you. She has a very good memory. Trust me on this. She recognised our Jas within 5 seconds.

BUGGER. I hate it when it does that.

THECASTRATOR Posted Oct 1, 2001
I thought the paper was lying, then I thought "Wait, what do they have to do with the fuzz?" then, halfway through, I thought "The Law!". But alas, not even a song.
I live in Ormonde Crescent. As I have repeatedly said, it's practically right beside our Bob's house. Who is worse off because of that is anybody's guess...
Everyone remembers Bob, though. His face is practically burned onto the back of your retinas.
Plus, don't be afraid if, when mentioning my name, Gill replies with "Christ, that t**t!", for I was in my pre-Radiohead/King Adora/Good music/insane ways. And tell her that David McKee made head boy at Williamwood. Then tell her to remember his fits of rage if he got a question wrong in school.
Yours,
Me.

Aaagh! I'm being stalked!
That's it I'm announcing that I'm moving to Spain. (When really I'll be in Cuba )
PS. Did you come up and introduce yourself to me a few days ago. My memory of the past week has become slightly blurred from the fact that in one week I've slept less than most people do in one night, drunk more alcohol than most people do in a year and drunk more caffiene than most people do in a lifetime. Still it feels great to be part of something as good as the QM even if its the part that involves running down the street screaming obscenities at strangers or carrying people home when they've drunk till they've collapsed. Last night my cousin (who I haven't seen for three weeks) asked me if anything interesting happened in since I last talked to him. Hmm? where to begin. He also asked if I ever considered applying to work in the Garage. It's just all too much. I need some sleep goddammit! And I've got to go sort out my bus pass tommorrow (since, as you so disturbingly know, I live far away from my beloved Uni) and enrol on thursday. If I wasn#t currently broke I'd go to Lost in Music (just off Byers road) and help feed my starving CD collection. Oh well. Once again my reply is 90% PS. I really should stop doing this.
PPS. Yup, I really should.

Lost In Music! We are its most faithful customers! We're all mates with Dennis.
Yes, I did walk up and introduce myself to you: you were handcuffed to another QM girl with a sign round your neck saying LIVE SEX.
I'm thinking that since Juliet Bravo was at no.8 in the tv thing then logically KA should have been on at that point, but maybe they cut it out.
And i'll tell Gill everything .
So then...
THECASTRATOR Posted Oct 2, 2001
Lost in Music, Byers Road...noted.
I'm going to find a TV executive, then proceed to either beat them, or play loud King Adora to them, until they allow them to be made into TV Gods. Or the same to the Pope, but make him proclaim that they are God...
Or *something*.
Yours,
Me.

I vowed that if I ever got control of a radio station, however illegally, for *just one hour* i'd play all of the KA album, all the b-sides, then Condemned To Rock&Roll by the Manics. After that i'm pretty sure i'd get kicked out by security.
Lost In Music's in DeCourcey's Arcade in Ashton Lane. The best place in the world. All the lanes off Byres Road have the *best* shops in them, and there's hundreds of charity shops and record shops.
So then...
THECASTRATOR Posted Oct 2, 2001
I'm going to try to do that as well, in fact, do you need any sort of bodyguard type person to kill anyone who doesn't like/isn't King Adora? I used to do the karate thing, so I could embarass myself in front of security, so they'd fall about laughing.
Yours,
Me.

I'm sure I remembered something like that. I will confess that running down the street, handcuffed to a girl screaming LIVE SEX is not a common thing for me to do. Theres usually two girls... and a sheep.
Aren't first impressions always the best ones
So, I spent monday sleeping. ALL of monday. It was an attempt to get all the noxious chemicals (Caffiene/Taurine/Alcohol/sugar-overdose/whatever-that=stuff-wafting-in-the-board-flat-was/STD's etc) purged from my body. I hopefully will regain all vital functions soon and maybe, after the post-traumatic-stress-disorder has worn of, actually remember anything that has happened to me in the last 168 hours.
Nice to meet you by the way. Look out for me in the QM as I will be returning to hang out all the time as soon as I get a bus pass cos' then I won't have to worry about wasting money coming in and back. I should be going to the film night on monday. I think they're showing Clerks and Mallrats in Qudos.
Lost in Music are cool. I was talking to one of their people (I never found out names) at the freshers fayre and helped them set up and take down their stall. (They trusted me to carry a large tray of CD's to their car, even though it contained all the Queen, Led Zep and Police albums and I was severely tempted just to run off giggling manically! - I'm just too nice a guy though)
Mmm... Monkeys?
So I'm going now, cos I really need a haircut before starting back. I also need a shave but I'm not going to bother with that I hope that I soon move from "ridiculous chin-fluff" mode to "really cool goatee" mode. This may take a while.

The only night i'm allowing myself to stay late is thursdays, cos i've got nothing on til 3pm the next day so i'm assured of a long lie.
Do you think we could break into Clyde1? they've been getting worse lately...
So then...
THECASTRATOR Posted Oct 3, 2001
Yes...yeeees...they are nearby, and I'm certain the security is easily neutralised...
The revolution is near!
Soon the world(Well, whoever is listening to Clyde1 at that time) will love them(Even more)!

Angel - Come along on Monday cos' it wont have to be a late night. The films usually start at 8pm so if you only stay for the first one it'll be over by about tennish and if you stay for both I doubt you'll be later than 1am at the latest. I might try to come on thurs too to see if Velocity is any good. I'm almost a regular at both Revolution and Cheesy (although I'm taking a long break for recovery and new start admin) but Velocity is only really being tested out properly this thurs for the first time. I walked into Jims the day they were testing out the velocity DJ and in the 15mins I spent there every song they played was one I owned. I thought (rather drunkenly-like everything last week) that t/s/he/y might have stolen my CD collection to play to the masses. I could understand if it was just the popular stuff like Nirvana and the Manics but they were playing The Eels and The Pixies which for a nightclub is quite rare. It's great listening music but I'm not sure how it'll cope on the dancefloor. I'll have to find out on Thursday, I guess.
Castrator - Yes Clyde 1 shall be taken over. Between us we may save the musical tastes of Glasgow!
PS. My friends band may be getting signed. It's quite secretive (I doubt they'll be reading this but don't let this slip elsewhere) but they have been in talks with a certain Mr S. B. (read the back of "Generation Terrorists for a clue.) Oh, I'm enrolling tomorrow and I don't know where or when. Aaaagh!

Angel - I've just read your home page again (I was bored alright!) and realised that I should warn you about something. Crowley was based on a real person. Mr Alasdair Crowley was an author and a promoter of LSD, sexual debauchery and satanic philosophies. In short, the human sworn enemy of the Christian Church of the time. I don't know what he looked like young but he only became more famous in older age. He turns up quite controversially on the Beatles Sgt Pepper sleeve in the back row (methinks) of the crowd. So your comment, just to warn you, is aimed towards possibly the 20th century's epitome of devil worship and evil, and, of course, a student favourite in bookstores. I've got some catching up to do if I'm going to compete.

I was aware of the whole Crowley thing but anyone who says anything about it before reading the book in question deserves a kick up the arse, and anyone who has read the book will know what I mean. Crowley does try to save the world.

And I might come on monday ( considering i'm studying FTS and am a member of the film society it's practically obligation). Oh, and the Ramshorn Theatre in Ingram St are putting on a production of THHGTTG from Oct 9th .
