Lest We Forget
Posted Nov 10, 2006
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them
Lest we forget

Big day.

Actually, I've barely done anything today, but I feel like I have. I got my first edited guide entry on the front page and I got my university results back (B+, B+, A, A+), so I've decided that it is auspicious day to change my name. Just cos I feel like it.

Honesty

I left my wallet on a bench outside a video store today. It had my tax rebate in it - $250(80ish pounds, maybe?), which is literally everything I have. Someone handed it in, without taking the money.
I don't know who it was, and I know that they'll never see this, but I want to thank them anyway. That money is a lot to me, and I really do need it. Thank you, anonymous stranger.

I've had enough!

Every second thread I go into lately seems to be one that's either full of trolls or spammers, or people complaining about trolls or spammers, or people complaining about the people who are complaining about the trolls and spammers!
So, *this* journal entry is to ask everyone who wants to talk about the weather, their jobs, their lives, their pets, whatever; to come and talk without one mention of anyone at all who is rude, repetitive, obnoxious, prejudiced, or irritating.
I only ask, please leave quarrels at the door. Apart from that, anyone is welcome.
*NO SPAMMING OR TROLLING ALLOWED*
